I literally just played through the Turnip Boy games for the first time last week! This looks like another genre change, and a prequel. Not the biggest fan of runner games though, I'll see how it reviews first.

What timing! It’s interesting how they switch up the genre each time, but I’m still partial to the first one. While I’m not a big fan of the runner genre myself, I’ll play this because it’s Turnip Boy (when it’s on sale of course). I’m also not big on roguelikes/lites but as Robs a Bank was ok for me, I’m hoping the same for this one.

Today was the W40k Skulls event, an event about upcoming W40k games.

Personal highlights:

- Owlcat Games is making a new W40k CRPG! Apparently the Inquisition and the Night Lords will play an important role here. No release date available yet.

- Lex Imperialis - the second DLC for Owlcat Games' Rogue Trader - is going to be released on June 24.

- There's going to be a second Season Pass for Rogue Trader featuring 2 new DLCs.

- Warhammer 40,0000: Boltgun - Words of Vengeance - a typing game - was released for free on Steam today.

A few W40k games are available for free now - as already posted in the respective thread on this forum.

Out of the announcements yesterday, I'm most excited about Lumines Arise!

Games that have caught my eye are RE 9, Scott Pilgrim EX, FF Tactics, and Romeo is a Dead Man. I’ll be keeping an eye on Atomic Heart II and the Plague Tale spinoff (I loved the 1st but meh on the sequel). Mouse PI also, but I’m always skeptical of unproven devs.

Halo is the end times. Gears of War was already ported to ps3, albeit internally at epic during UE3 development and Epic owned the IP until 2014.

Whereas Microsoft acquired Bungie specifically to have a flagship IP and an actual studio when developing the OG Xbox. Before that it was previously announced for Mac and was actually a different game (it was third person for one, but started as an RTS)

I’m a Nintendo fanboy and this direct was the best presentation this year. It was jam-packed with games I want and its all coming in the next 6 months. I just wish there was a Zelda game (I don’t care for Hyrule/Dynasty Warriors).

Yooo finally, I remember when everyone was speculating that FH5 would be in Japan. I haven't played a Forza game in a while but I'll definetely consider picking this up, it's a very nostalgic series for me.
