2025 Weekly Update 25
Another busy week! I did manage to do some stuff, though.
Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance

I'm retiring this for now, since I just don't get to it. Maybe I'll pick it back up at some point.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

No progress.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

No progress.
Honkai: Star Rail

I've just watch the special program for 3.4 and... this is going to be hard. I was okay with skipping Phainon and then they hit with the Sunday and Tribbie rerun... And to make matters worse... a free Archer LC if you pull 200 times. Which makes it the perfect time to either get Sunday Eidolons... or Tribbie. I'm so screwed. Also, Blade is becoming usable again with Tribbie and Hyacine. So I'm really considering pulling for both (rerun for Hyacine, though). Then again I'll probably build Archer, too to use him with Hanya and Sparkle and building two new teams at the same time is just exhausting. So in the end it boils down to... do I want his LC, or not :,).
(Event) Trace 'n' Drift - A very fun racing event! Sadly it was way too short.
Genshin Impact

Spiral Abyss reset and I cleared it with 32 stars. The 12th floor showed me that I do not only need to invest more into my Alhaitham team, but I also need a third team of a different element as soon as possible. I think it might be time to properly build my Diluc, something I've always wanted to do. And I'll pair him with Xingqiu, Kazuha and Zhongli so the later two finally get some use! Although... it'll probably take me weeks to make this team properly usable xD.
Version 5.7 is here. I don't really care about the banners that are up. For Skirk, she looks good, but I'm not interested in her. I haven't even seen her in the story yet, since I haven't yet played that part (At this point I don't even know where she makes an appearance. Fontaine, perhaps?). And Shenhe... well, I don't care about her either and I don't like her design, so she's an easy skip.
As for the new Archon Quest, A Space and Time for You (Chapter V, Act VI)... I will also not do this one for now and wait until more of the VA have returned, same as with Paralogism. There's enough older content I can still do.
I am, however, excited to do Skirk's character story and the Traveler's Tales event.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Holographic Onslaught Arena - Combat Event with trial characters. Love these as they let me try new characters and teams.
I've reached Inter-Knot level 50 and did the Reputation Rank-Up mission, now I can level everyone to level 60.
Other than that I've just been doing the quick dailies. Didn't even spent my energy every day.
Wuthering Waves

I've wrapped up building Calcharo and I've used him for a bit (not against hard content, but still) and to be honest... it's refreshing to use a new character once in a while. I've been using Brant and Xiangli Yao for a while now and at least I'm getting to see some other animations for a change xD. I think that next up I'll build Aero Rover, since I want to try to use him with my Jiyan for an all-male team.
I've also cleared the current Whimpering Wastes. I've had this sit there for a while since I always feel its a bit too lengthy, but I finally got to it. Cleared it with my Camellya and Brant teams, but also used Jiyan on some of the lower levels.
(Quest) Even When Divinity Remains Silent - This is Rinascita Chapter 2, Act 5. We follow Cartethyia who's gone missing to Septimont.
We meet Buling! I love her design. And then we also meet Lupa and team up with her.
And we get to meet Phrolova again. Everything's very mysterious.
We also get a first glimpse of Augusta and Iuno (I wish she wore a little more than underwear x_x. I love her design in general, but this makes me not want to pull for her, even if she did fit well with one of my teams.)
And after the finals... that's it for now. The story really ends in the middle of things. They should have made it longer! Hah. Oh well. Can't wait for it continue :).
Let's see... the next thing I want to do is explore Septimont for a bit. At least enough to get it to 80% Exploration Progress for the time limited rewards. But that has to wait until next week.
Infinity Nikki

I've glowed up the Pink Ribbon Waltz outfit, which unlocks a really pretty dark recolor of it. I've also glowed up the Starwish Echoes outfit, which got a cute pink recolor.

I really like both recolors.

This is the outfit I created with it, combining the black with red and switching to my favorite hair <3.
(Quest) Once Upon a Destined Encounter - This is the main story of the current patch! I think the quest was alright. Just really short and silly at times. They could have created something better.
Mira Crown also reset. I just had to glow up some Cool/Retro pieces for one of the stages. Everything else was easy since I already had the outfits needed.
I've also completed the new Starlit Pursuit, which I thought were pretty fun. This is a new weekly activity to obtain Starlit Crystals. This will make it easier for me to buy the limited stuff.
(Event) Where Are the Gifties? - I like searching for these cute little stickers <3. The only thing that really bothers me is that they unlock the levels in Europe... but the stickers only appear later when they unlock in Asian servers? Had me searching like a fool for the last Gifty, when it hadn't even spawned yet c__c. This is one of the reasons why I usually wait a few days before doing stuff in Nikki, but it still sucks.
(Event) Veiled in Verses - The usual doing activities for points to exchange for rewards event. This one was easy, I didn't have to do anything extra.
The upcoming 4* banners have been previewed and I really like both of them. I'll still wait and see how I like them ingame, but I do have the pulls for them if I end up liking them a lot.
Another busy week! I did manage to do some stuff, though.

Week 5 of my no pull 'challenge' of the first four games on the list above.
No surprises here. WW has reached 100+ pulls. One or two more weeks and Genshin will also be above 100. I'm surprised that Star Rail is staying on top for so long, but now I'm all done with the current limited stuff in that game, so for the next two weeks, progress will be slow, unless I do some permanent content. My prediction for next week is that either ZZZ or WW will pull ahead, because I still have some events left in those two games.
On another note, I've reached over 300 pulls in Nikki! I'm getting close to being able to pull for two full 5* outfits again.

My plan for next week would be to complete the events in ZZZ and WW and maybe get to Skirk's quest in Genshin. I also have a bit of limited content left to do in Nikki.

2025 Weekly Update 26
I've started to be more critical about events and time limited stuff in these Gacha Games. If I'm not enjoying it and it's not even fast to complete I'll just drop it. Most events don't even give all that many rewards anyway. What am I losing out on? < 10 pulls. Not worth my time if it isn't fun.
I've also started writing down a list of all the limited-stuff that I haven't done yet, which somehow helps me feel less overwhelmed and it helps me pick what to do next.
I've decided to put Fantasy Life on hold for now and hopefully I'll get back to Clair Obscur more regularly from next week on.
I also gave Persona 5 The Phantom X a go this week, but I probably wont stick to it, so I didn't add it to the list below. I got a pretty lucky 10-pull on it though...

This was my first ten pull on the game. Very lucky!
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

No progress.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

Put on hold for now.
Honkai: Star Rail

MoC reset. I cleared it with my Castorice/Mydei and my Firefly team.
I've finally purchased the last Light Cone from Herta's Store and all the Superimposers, too! From now on I can finally buy Star Rail Passes instead.

All sold out *-*
Genshin Impact

(Event) Battle of Imagined Arrays - I played through the left side of the event first (the fruit mini game). I love these sort of mini games. They are like these old mobile games I used to like, only I wont play them for hours and hours, so they're just a nice little thing for half an hour and then I'm satisfied xD.
The other mini game was a board game with auto-battle and random elements. This one was really good! It's almost a waste it's a limited event with only two stages.
I also just got another Keqing from the standard banner. She's now C5.
(Event) Stygian Onslaught - The new endgame mode. Hard was pretty easy to clear, but Menacing was impossible for me. Neuvillette could clear one stage, but I couldn't even clear the second with Alhaitham, let alone the third, since I don't have another good team. So yeah, more investment is needed! But what I could clear was pretty fun.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Soul of Steel: Golden Bond - I've tried the first stage. I think it's super boring and clunky. I just wasn't enjoying it, so I wont complete this event.
The new banners are here: Ju Fufu (new) and Caesar (rerun), but I'm not interested in either.
Wuthering Waves

ToA reset. I cleared the middle with Changli/Brant. I tried the first stage with Jiyan, but I wasn't fast enough for full stars. I cleared the left side with Jinshi (I used to use her all the time, now I don't even remember when I last used this team... probably during the last ToA?). I actually had problems to clear the last level with full stars with Verina, though and had to use Shorekeeper for the first time with my Jinshi. I used to want copies for my Jinshi, but right now I'm thinking I'd much rather get a new DPS eventually. If one I like ever comes along. I've been skipping a lot of the meta DPS characters, the last I actually got was Brant after all. I have high hopes for two of the characters that had recently been announced.
Now, the right side of ToA is for Fusion, but I've already used Fusion for the middle, so I've simply used Xiangli Yao for it, which was easy enough.
(Quest) Where Sky is Clear and Glory Shines: Guardian Tower - One of the new exploration quests in Septimont. We help Tulia to get into a tower to investigate some strange roars than can be heard from within. And then we free the trapped Scourgewing inside. It was a short quest, but I liked it.
(Quest) Flames in the Deep - Another exploration quest in Septimont in which we track down Phrolova's Phantom. I thought the quest was okay. And we reach the island to the side through it.
I've reached 80% exploration progress in Septimont and got all of the time-limited rewards for it. I haven't been doing a lot of exploration in the new areas... but I really like it when I'm doing it. It's so much easier than the old regions and I like most of the mini games, too. I still feel like I've done enough of it for a while again now xD.
(Event) Dreaming Deep - I did the first stage. It's just not fun. Very tedious. I didn't even read the text. Definitely not for me. It's a permanent event, so maybe someday I'll feel like going through it. At this point I don't and I don't care about the time-limited rewards tbh.
(Event) All-Out! Towards the Peaks of Prestige - Card battle game with Pokemon-like elements. This is freaking fun! This is the sort of event I want! Fun gameplay and boom - the rewards are just a nice secondary thought <3.
(Event) Virtual Crisis: Frontier Trials - I love this event. It helps try out some of the characters I never got. I tried Jiyan with Ciaccona and Aero Rover and it really made me consider pulling for Ciaccona at some point. Of course the event also had stages and trial characters for most of the newer teams and it's always refreshing to try those out (and mostly realize that it's fine I never pulled for them).
Infinity Nikki

I still needed to take two more pictures for one of the limited challenges, so I did those first thing this week.
I also had four of the short limited quests remaining, so I did those, too.
(Event) Finding the Slumbering Animals - I loved all of the mazes! Especially how each one had a completely different feature. I am missing 4 chests across the 6 stages, but I can't be bothered to go back in to find them. I did that with the first I was missing, wandering around for a good while and that's when it started to frustrate me, so I'm pretty satisfied with my current result for this event.
The mid-patch update is here with the Flutter Storm rerun and the two new 4* banners. I had previously done 180 pulls on Flutter Storm, but I'm not interested in the other two recolors, so I'll leave it at that (I would love the last recolor, but getting it is too expensive.).
For the 4* banners, there's Cloud Daydreams (max of 40 pulls) and Ballon Trip (max of 45 pulls). Ballon Trip also has cute Deep Echoes. The Cloud Daydream ones aren't as interesting. To be honest, I kinda like both 4* outfits. Cloud Daydreams has really cute details and I love the colors. I wish the bow at the back of the dress was an individual piece, though. Ballon Trip is so playful! And I just love the balloons (though you can barely see them on the preview screen, lol). The little balloons in the hair, the duck pants... and the cute little backpack! My only complaint is that the dress is one piece. I was hoping you could take off the duck pants.
For now I have decided... to not pull on either. I like them, but they don't blow me away and I have my gripes with both. I've pulled on too many banners I 'liked' before, I need to focus more on banners I absolutely love from now on. Besides, there's still two weeks left to change my mind.
(Event) Glow Race - Not doing this since it's a friend-co-op event. At least it doesn't give any great rewards.
(Event) Gather the Glow - Returning to three of the mazes, this time with a timer and the task to collect items. I really enjoyed this one. Sadly there were only three stages this time. They really could have used all six of the mazes!
I've decided to pull for the Enchanted Encounter 5* outfit after all. Not only because the wings are gorgeous, but because the Animal Grooming ability is just that good. I considered farming for an outfit this week, but the thought of grooming those skittish animals one by one again and how frustrated I was last time... made me look up a video that showcased the Enchanted Encounter grooming ability and once I saw the AoE effect and range of it... I was sold. I was at 340 crystals before pulling. Getting the whole outfit cost me 189 crystals of a maximum of 200. Sadly, I wasn't really lucky on this one. But I still have a decent amount of crystals left.
With that obtained I decided to gather the materials for the 5* Sea of Stars outfit and craft it. Then I crafted a copy of the 4* Starwish Echoes outfit to evolve it. After that I crafted a copy of the 4* Honey Hunt outfit and evolved that one, too (though this one did only required a few bees to be completed).
I've also crafted 20 more Rare Pieces and Momo's Cloak: Gentle Breeze (this is also the first time I've crafted one of Momo's Cloaks).
My next crafting goal is currently Momo's Cloak: Sea of Stars, but that one takes a few days due to a rare ressource that's needed.
So yeah, I'd say getting the Enchanted Encounter outfit was really worth it for its ability alone. It has sped up gathering these materials by a lot and thus made it way more fun instead of it being frustrating!
Now if only they released an outfit that made fishing faster... I'd get it in a heartbeat, no matter how ugly it was.
I've also cleared Rollick & Mirth (doing tasks for points/rewards) and Alison's Travel Shop also only has one more day to unlock, so that one's basically done, too.

Wuthering Waves got a huge boost this week! And with that the first game as surpassed 150 pulls. Maybe next week it'll already surpass 200, who knows. As expected, Genshin is hanging behind... but it'll at least get to 100 next week.

Plan for the next week
I'm very excited for the 3.4 update that's coming for Star Rail next week! I can't wait to play through the story. And the collab event is hopefully going to be really fun, too.
Other than new stuff that's coming, I still want to play through Skirk's story quest and the Traveler's Tales in Genshin and I still have some events left in ZZZ. I also want to do the current Scales of the Past in WW. So, overall there's not too much time-limited stuff left. Would be nice if I finally got back into Clair Obscur, too.

2025 Weekly Update 27
I still didn't continue playing Clair Obscur, ugh!
But it was patch week for Star Rail and I loved the new story update.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

No progress.
Honkai: Star Rail

I've just watched Phainon's trailer and I have to say... I think that was the best trailer so far. I've re-watched it a few times. It's so good and now the music is stuck in my head, haha.
3.4 is finally here. This is going to be so hard. With Phainon releasing, Tribbie and Sunday reruns and the Archer Light Cone you get at 200 pulls... I am really tempted here. Ugh... and I caved. I tried Phainon in his trial and he's just sooo good. Why wouldn't I want two new teams between him and Archer, right?! Well, guess week 7 is where I'll end my challenge. At least for Star Rail. I just couldn't resist. At least he'll replace my Acheron team in the overworld, so I'll use him a lot. I actually managed to get his E2S1, without saving up that would not have been possible.
Honestly, though... Hoyo pulled the same stunt as with Aventurine on me with Phainon. Both characters I didn't like at first and ended up loving.
I'll use my fuel to farm for Phainon now. Then I'll build him and I'll also build Anaxa and RMC who I've also farmed for in the past few weeks.
On Fribbels, Anaxa now has a score of 442 (A+). And RMC is at 406 (B+). And Phainon got a score of 425 (A). Then I tried Phainon and Anaxa in the latest MoC and it went so well <3. Still, I'll continue to farm relics for both. I want to see at least an S score for them! But first I need to farm more for Sparkle and SW to make the Archer team happen once he's out.
(Quest) For the Sun is Set to Die - Finally. The continuance of the Trailblaze Mission. And Dan Heng is finally voiced again Q.Q I'm so, so happy.
And Phainon's VA has done a phenomenal job. Hysilen's ingame model looks really cool, too.
But this quest.... I think this was the best one so far. It was so well done. I felt so sad throughout it all. Amphoreus really is done so well. I hope it continues like this. Star Rail is the only game where I can barely wait for the story to continue each time between patches... and I'm actually annoyed when I have to work late on patch days and have to wait to dive into the story, haha.
I decided to get Tribbie, too. If I decide to get Hyacine on her rerun, too I might even revive my Jingliu and Blade.
After building Tribbie I am now almost out of fuel (but that's okay).
So currently I have the following 6 teams that I use regularly (and soon I'll hopefully add the Archer team, too):
Ratio - Aventurine - Moze - Jiaoqiu (The double date team, my favorite <3. Too bad it's really falling behind, so I haven't been using it much)
Firefly - Ruan Mei - Fugue - Lingsha (My go-to team for any farming content, because they implant their own weakness)
Jing Yuan - Sunday - Robin - Aventurine (used this one so much when I first build it, I love Jing Yuan and I'm so happy he's still doing so good)
Anaxa - Sunday - Robin - Huohuo (Haven't used it much, but Anaxa is better build now, so that'll change)
Castorice - Mydei - Tribbie - Luocha (It clears content, but still feels underwhelming. I like Mydei, but I regret pulling for him and Castorice because I'm not enjoying this team much)
Phainon - Sunday - Bronya - RMC/Gallagher (My newest team. I love it. So. Much. <3 And I'll also use it for exploration, retiring my Acheron team for now.)
I try not to use the same character in too many teams, but Sunday sure is doing overtime here xD.
(Event) Origami Bird Clash - It's more Candy Crush gameplay! Origami Bird Clash isn't the event I personally would have wanted to make a return, but it's fun nevertheless, so I don't mind. Besides the featured characters are great. I mean, more of Boothill and Argenti? Yes, please!
I even enjoyed the multiplayer mode a lot.
I've fully explored the new map of Aedes Elysiae. It's such a cozy an peaceful place. I'm glad they added this map, it's a great ending point for the current storyline, with a few mysteries and hidden things to discover. Lately I feel they are making it very rewarding to explore these maps after completing the current story, so I feel more inclined to do the exploration in a timely manner.
I've decided to explore some of the remaining Evernight maps next, starting with "Dragonbone City" Styxia. It didn't take too long, but some of the time puzzles really had me stumped for a bit. This map also had a few sad time fragments. Especially the one with Mydei and the one with Cipher :(.
Then I explored the "Murmuring Woods" Grove of Epiphany. I was only missing 4 chests here, though.
I've also done two more Unknowable Domain runs, I failed the first, but cleared Conundrum Lv. 3 with the second.
Genshin Impact

(Quest) Whispers Betwixt Stars and Night - This is Crystallina Chapter: Act I or... Skirks Story Quest. I haven't met Skirk in the main story yet, but I do think her character is interesting, so I'll just dive into her story quest now that it still gives time limited rewards.
This is also my first time hearing Paimon's new VA and I really like the new voice!
The quest was so good! I really enjoyed it and it was a great way to get to know Skirk.
Imaginarium Theater reset and for the first time I have enough characters for Visionary Mode (with 1/4 Alternate Cast members). I haven't done it yet, though, as I'll try to level up more characters for the remaining buffs.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Tiger's Billowing Roar - Event focused around Ju Fufu. And also bonus rewards for Ju Fufu's story quest. I thought both were okay. Not anything super great, but then again I'm not really interested in Ju Fufu.
(Event) Gravitational Attraction - Going on movie dates with various characters! This was such a fun event, I really enjoyed it a lot. Now if only Star Rail had an event like this :(.
(Event) Failume Heights Sightseeing Guide - This were just extra rewards for exploration and tasks around the new maps. I'm still missing a few things for this, but I'm not sure if I want to do them now. Right now I'm not a huge fan of map exploration in ZZZ. Maybe once my characters are a little better build and fighting doesn't take as long anymore?
(Event) Operation Yum - I feel indifferent about this one. At least it was quick and easy to complete?
Wuthering Waves

Lupa's banner is here. There are several reason for why I'll pull on it after all. Shes great for a team I love to use and will replace Shorekeeper in it, which is good, because Shorekeeper is needed in almost every team (I mean, technically Brant is the one who'll fullfill Shorekeeper's role, but whatever). The next male character that's coming doesn't seem interesting (yet), according to what I've seen and even if that were to change, I can still save up again.
Also Lupa was really cute in the story, I liked her. And I like her gameplay. I still wish they'd given her different clothes, though. I ended up getting Lupa S1R1. My aim is to get her to S2, though which I may, or may not still get. I would need 90 more Afterglow Corals to buy her Waveband, or get lucky with my upcoming pulls. I'm currently at 47 pity, so I'm hoping that I'll just win the next 50/50.
I also cleared the new Tactical Hologram for Kelpie level 1-5 of 6.
Infinity Nikki

Mira Crown reset again. I cleared it without having to glow up any new pieces, so I used the materials I had saved up to evolve and glow up the Echanted Encounters outfit, giving it that nice teal recolor.
I've also gotten the first evolution of the Sea of Stars outfit, which I like a lot better than the original color.
I still didn't continue playing Clair Obscur, ugh!
But it was patch week for Star Rail and I loved the new story update.

Week 7 of my no pull 'challenge' of the first four games on the list above.
And it is over. I caved in Star Rail and then I caved in WW, too. But what I'll take away from this is... I need to be more critical on who I pull for. Because having the resources to actually guarantee a character when I want them is really cool. Just look at ZZZ sitting there with almost 200 pulls. The next time a character releases that I want I can really invest into them! And even Genshin, there's two characters on the horizon that I might want, namely, Varka and Durin and by the time they release I might even be able to get one of them with their weapon for once?!

I have the main story update and and one event left in Wuthering Waves and I still need to do the Imaginarium Theater and Traveler's Tales in Genshin. Other than that I'm completely caught up... until the next updates next week, heh :3. Not sure what else I want to do next week. 1.7 of Infinity Nikki releases next week. Considering the previews I'm not interested in the 5* banner, but I think 1.8 might have a double banner and I fear I might like both, so I actually want to clear a bit more old content to get more pulls just in case.
Other than that I'm also trying to get another copy of Lupa in WW, so I might do some extra stuff there, too.

2025 Weekly Update 28
I made the decision to drop Clair Obscur for now and decided on a different game to play. Other than that it was an uneventful week, I guess.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

I've retired it for now. I'll probably give it another go at some point, probably even start again from the beginning since I wasn't too far into it.
Tales of Arise

I felt trapped wanting to play a game I didn't feel like playing, even if it was phenomenal (Clair Obscur). I needed a change of 'scenery', too (from my computer where I play all of the Gacha to my living room where the playstation is, heh). I went through my list of PS games and was like, hey... let's give this game another go. I've previously played it for 14 hours, but I retired that playthrough since it had been a long time ago.
I've completed the first boss fight against Balseph! One lord down, 4 to go.
We meet Rimwell and Law and make our way to Cysloden. Some sad stuff happens, but we manage to defeat the second lord and we're moving on to Elde Menancia and this place looks gorgeous!
We defeat the lord of Elde Menancia. Almost done with this place, too.
I haven't done any sub-quests as I'm not really interested.
So far I really like the story and the characters and especially their interactions.
Next week I should get past the point where I'd previously stopped playing, too.
Honkai: Star Rail

Apocalyptic Shadow reset. I used MyRice and Phainon, as expected, I guess. I tried Hypercarry Castorice, but that felt underwhelming, too. I tried replacing Luocha with Ruan Mei, which worked surprisingly better (unless they all die, which they did in one attempt). All team comps cleared it easily, I just feel like it's underwhelming and I can't put my finger on why. Maybe I just don't like the gameplay of this team.
Phainon, of course, was the real MVP.
I also attempted a clear with Firefly and Anaxa, which worked, too. I just wanted to see if I could have cleared it without my two 'best' teams. And Anaxa did just as well as Phainon.
Then I did one more attempt with Phainon on one side and Anaxa on the other and they cleared with a beautiful score of 7,4k on auto <3. I just had to replace Sunday with RMC for Phainon since Anaxa also needs Sunday. I also did one run with Phainon in a sustainless setup with Sparkle and that did even better.
I haven't had this much fun in any of the endgame modes in a long time! I'm sure happy I pulled for Phainon <3 (I still need to speed tune Anaxa and Sunday, though. There's still lots of wasted potential there.).
And I just got Gepard from the standard banner (converted to a Companion Spirit, because I already have him at E6). That was a nice surprise. Well, I just checked and I was at 76 pity, but getting a character I have at E6 from it is the best thing that can happen, it gives 5 extra limited pulls and half a character from the shop after all.
The Fate/Stay Night Collab is here. Honestly, I know nothing about that series. But Archer is free and he uses support characters that had been collecting dust on my account, so I'll build him. And I was excited for the story/event due to Aventurine's appearance in it, among others.
(Quest) Fate/Night in Dreamland - The collaboration quest!
So many great interactions. Skott and Aventurine was just hilarious. And Mr. Reca was there, too (release him already as a playable character!)
No... why would they do this... making part of the story unvoiced?! T_T But I want to hear Aventurine's beautiful voice!

But I want to hear your voice!
Archer's frustration with the MC is so real, just like how I feel sometimes when the plot gets too overly silly at times, haha.
The film part of the quest was a bit meh. Though I liked the cinematic with the Aventurine fight. The dream part was interesting. I like these what-if scenarios.
The quest also let me test Saber with my own characters. And yeah, she's good, but I definitely like Archer's gameplay better because it's more unique. So now I'm even more glad he was given out for free. Maybe at some point I'll even get his E1.
Overall, I really liked this quest. I'm glad they occasionally bring back old characters for the story, especially if it's characters I really like! Even Pom-Pom got a nice surprise.

Their dynamic was really good, too.
(Event) Holy Grail War - The Fate/Stay Night Collab battle event. Honestly it wasn't really that good or interesting...? Just an average battle event. At least it gave good rewards.
The whole collab felt a bit underwhelming for something they'd announced such a long time ago and hyped up so much. Luckily I'm not a Fate/Stay Night fan or I might have been disappointed, I guess. But there were several things I loved about the collab: A free character (Archer) that is really fun to play. The story involved my favorite character, Aventurine and the what-if scenario of the dream part of the story was just really good!
Genshin Impact

The new rerun banners are here, Mavuika and Emilie. I have my sights set on an upcoming character or I might have considered Emilie for my Kinich.
I've leveled Dehya, Rosaria, Kaeya and Yanfei to level 70. I also leveled up a bunch of weapons, traces and artifacts before going back into the Imaginarium Theater. At least I'm now getting the full buffs. And I cleared Act 10 for the first time and with 5 stars. All thanks to Neuvillette, Furina and a Skirk I was able to borrow, though. But I do feel like it gets easier. At least as long as I can use my Hydro units xD.
(Event) Travelers' Tales: Gilded Chapter - I got all of the rewards, but there are still a few more anecdotes I want to see! I really liked these just as much as the last ones. Too bad a lot of the characters are still unvoiced.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) 141 Battery Artwork - Just a daily turn in event. Easy and fast.
Wuthering Waves

I've decided to do some exploration. I got Septimont from 81% to 94%, I still need to continue the main story to unlock the remaining Resonance Beacons, which is why I've decided to do that next.
(Quest) Flames of Heart - Rinascita Chapter 2, Act 6. I didn't know the main story was going to continue later in 2.4 (I rarely read the patch notes or I would have known). Now it makes sense why the ending of Act 5 felt so off.
This act was really good! And the final cutscene was really great. I really liked Lupa's involvement in the story.
Whimpering Wastes also reset. I just find this tedious. I usually spread this out over a few days, but I wanted the pulls for Lupa, so I was motivated to clear it right away.
(Event) Banners Never Fall - This was really fun! The city turned into a battle field with different sections and everything and some tough enemies to battle.
(Event) The Everglorious Summit - This was just the typical 'do stuff around the map for points and get extra rewards' sort off event.
And I ended up getting Lupa at 71 pity, winning the 50/50 and she is now S2. I almost have enough Afterglow Corals to buy a Waveband, too. I've read that Brant is rerunning soon, so maybe I can get him some copies? He's currently S3. S5 should be doable. S6 with a lot of luck. Depends on how much pulls I'll farm. He's definitely the next character I'm interested in getting to S6, though.
(Event) Lollo Campaign: Verification - Just the usual daily turn in event.
Infinity Nikki

1.7 is here.
The new store stuff is really something else. The From the Depths outfit looks gorgeous! And a blindfold! This is like my third lake/water-like dress now, but I don't care. I think I'm developing a favorite style xD.
The new 5* banner outfit is very pretty, too. I love the snake-like elements. And the 4* on that banner is so cute! A little moth-outfit. I especially like the 'ears' and hair. If it was a 4* banner I would have pulled for th 4* outfit. But the 5* outfit Tide of Tears just isn't unique enough. I feel like I've just pulled on a banner with a similar dress with the mermaid outfit.
I've fully glowed up the From the Depth outfit right away.
The Starlit Shop has really cute new stuff, too! A mushroom dress and another unique dress and a jumpsuit. There's also cute mushrom themed jewelery. I need to work on getting more Starlit Crystals. I've only been doing the dailies and nothing else for them. I even skipped the weekly last week.
I have not touched anything else of the 1.7 update yet! But I'll get to the story and events next week.
I made the decision to drop Clair Obscur for now and decided on a different game to play. Other than that it was an uneventful week, I guess.

No surprises here. Star Rail had an update, so getting those pulls back up was easy. ZZZ is now past 200 pulls! I don't have any pull plans at the moment, either, aside from maybe wanting Hugo/Harumasa copies. Infinity Nikki is now also at a point where I can guarantee the next 5* outfit, so that's good. I've read a spoiler that a dragon themed outfit might be coming and I'm really excited for that!

Plan for the next week
I'll definitely go through the stuff 1.7 added in Infinity Nikki. And I still need to do the Scales of Time in Wuthering Waves. Other than that I haven't really checked what might be coming next week. Oh... I think Zenless Zone Zero 2.1's release might be next week, actually, but that's the game I'm currently least excited about (sorry, haha).
Other than that I'm hoping to put a good amount of time into Tales of Arise and I still want to give Persona5 The Phantom X a try.

2025 Weekly Update 29
I had a great week! I wrapped up some stuff and got some permanent content done in Infinity Nikki. I've also given Persona 5 The Phantom X a chance, as mentioned last week. I played the story up to the second palace and played enough content to pull for Ren, only because I think if I ever decide to play this game for real I'll appreciate pulling for him. Overall I really liked the game, but in the end its just more Persona 5 and I never even finished that? There are other gacha games I'm looking forward to more, so I wont be adding this one to my list as of now.
Tales of Arise

I've wrapped up Elde Menancia and we've reached the capital of Mahag Saar. This is the point at which I stopped playing during my previous playthrough.
Honkai: Star Rail

Just dailies/weeklies.
Genshin Impact

Spiral Abyss reset. Last time I got 32 stars, this time I got 34! It went better than expected, especially since I still only have two teams really leveled up and build.
Zenless Zone Zero

The 2.1 update is here! I'll pull on the new banners. Yuzuha seems to be very fun to play! And she can be used with Miyabi and Vivian, both characters I like. My pull order for now will be Miyabi -> Yuzuha -> Miyabi W-Engine -> Yuzuha W-Engine. And of course Vivian as soon as she reruns. I have 212 pulls saved up and I'm at 45 pity (not guaranteed), so lets see how far I can get!
And I lost the 50/50 to Soldier 11. When I got Miyabi I had 102 pulls left. On to Yuzuha. She didn't come early either, but at least I won the 50/50 for her. I had 22 pulls left + 18 from the Residual Signals I got from pulling. Going for Miyabi's W-Engine next and I lost the 75/25 after 20 pulls. At least I lost it early and to a W-Engine I can use on Anby. Still sucks, though.
But getting Miyabi's W-Engine before the banner runs out should be possible. Getting Yuzuha's W-Engine, too would require a lot of luck, though and I think I'll skip that one for now. So the goal now is to get Miyabi's W-Engine and then to save up again.
And I got Miyabi's W-Engine at 56 pity with my last pull this week. Now I can start saving up again.
Wuthering Waves

Just dailies/weeklies.
Infinity Nikki

As mentioned last week, I wanted to go through all the new stuff that was added in 1.7. The 1.7 patch is shorter than the last few patches, so I didn't want to let this stuff sit for too long. I also set a high goal for this week. I wanted to get to at least 300 pulls in preparation for the next update (so about +80). I thought it was definitely doable with the 1.7 stuff, Mira Crown reset and doing some permanent content.
(Quest) Toward the Other Side of Tears - This is the main story quest of 1.7. It was such a good quest and the dungeon looks beautiful. I think they did really well this time. I only wish they added a few chests to the dungeon, it feels so empty.
I also wrapped up all of the Blue Tears Adventures and Encounters (so all of the smaller side quests). I took all of the pictures of the picture tasks (though I think only one of them was not related to a quest) and I found all of the Gifties (which was easy this time). I also completed all of the tasks for the Midnight Gleam outfit.
(Event) Lights Guiding the Way - There's definitely something that can be said about turning NPC escort quests into a mini game... but honestly, it wasn't too bad. Quick to complete and not frustrating at all, at least.
And that's it for all of the 1.7 stuff so far (not sure if more is coming aside from the 4* banners). I think this was the shortest patch so far and there definitely wasn't as much content, but I don't really mind. I'd rather have a little less content that's actually good than a lot of boring bloated content that drags on and on.
And another Mira Crown reset. Did it reset sooner this time? I feel like I've just done one. I had to upgrade and glow up the 4* Forest's Fluttering outfit since I was missing some Fresh/Adventure pieces for the last stage. I was mostly surprised that this outfit wasn't upgraded yet, to be honest, but luckily I always save my resources until the next Mira Crown just in case.
Unrelated to Mira Crown I've also upgraded and glowed up the 5* Sea of Stars outfit. Now all of the 5* outfits I own are glowed up again.
Remember the goal for this week I mentioned at the beginning? Getting to 300 pulls? So at this point I was sitting at 276 pulls. I decided to clear the map of some more chests, dews and whimstars. I just really love exploring the map with the help of the offical interactive map. I also did a few more mini games I found that I hadn't done before. This doesn't give all that much in terms of diamonds. Maybe a pull per hour of exploration, but it's fun once in a while, so I don't mind!

I started to clear out Florawish and Breezy Meadow (ignoring the castle because that area sucks) and then I went over to Stoneville (leaving a few chests that seemed annoying to find) and I went into the Abandoned District a little bit before running out of juice.
Next I decided to craft a copy of the Silvergale Outfit to get more evolutions of it. I've been putting this off for a long time. But first... I had to repair the Choo-Choo Train to get the final Silver Petal from the Dailies.
(Quest) Home on the Rails - This is the quest to repair the train. It wasn't too bad, honestly. Maybe I'll do a few more quests later this week.
On to collecting for the Silvergale Outfit! This is the outfit that takes the most resources, I think. I don't really mind, I've always loved these grinding tasks for some reason. The only thing that I really don't like is that some materials need to be collected over the course of several days (and I don't mean the daily quest and boss drops). When I start something like this I just want to power through it and not be restricted by respawn times!
I completed the first and second evolution. The last one still needs 5 more weeks of boss materials, though.
I've also crafted Momo's Cloak: Cloud Puff, just because I had most of the necessary materials already.
The mid-patch banners are here. The Blooming Dream rerun. I've previously put 230 pulls into this banner to get the 2nd evolution and to get the final one I'd need up to another 140 pulls. I have previously said I wanted it, because I love the color, but now I no longer think that it would be worth it. Because it's just a recolor. Almost no changes to the outfit (there are additional crystals on the dress and an animated petal effect, but I don't really like those enough to pull for it). Now, the new 4* banners:
Gilded Memories just isn't doing anything for me at all, though I must admit that the birds are cute.
Mistbound Whispers is very cute. It's different enough that I'd want it, but I will only get it once the 1.8 5* banners are announced and if I happen to not like those. Because if I'm going for Mistbound Whispers I'd want the base and the evolution, so up to 80 pulls for the outfit.
I crafted the 3* outfit Scarlet Dream and a copy of the 4* outfit Heartlake Ripples to evolve it. The evolution is really cute, the dress has a gradient effect.
I completed a bunch of quests and crafted some more rare pieces and ended up with exactly 300 Revelation Crystals, goal reached!
Here's some new outfits and pics I've taken of them.

I love these wings so much.

The orange looks so good!

Wuthering Waves 2.5 update is coming next week. I should maybe also consider focusing on doing some permanent content in WW if I want those copies of Brant (who's rerunning in the second phase), because right now my funds look bad.
Other than that I have one event left in Genshin and of course the new Main Story and other stuff in ZZZ.

You're back at it with Tales of Arise? Fun! I'm playing the remaster of Graces F right now, it really puts into perspective the improvements that have been made on Arise (that was my first Tales of game).
It's fun to read your updates on the the gacha games. I wish I would've stuck with them longer. A while back I retried Star Rail based on your advice but it was too long ago. I hardly remembered anything and it didn't feel right to start from where I was... Hopefully another gacha will speak to me one day. Persona X is not it, because I also didn't finish 5 (yet).

Interesting to see that you dropped P5X because you never finished P5. For me it's the opposite. I love P5R and for a time it was my favorite game of all time, however I despise gacha games as a concept. I was originally going to try out P5X despite it being a gacha game because of the Persona connection. But then I read a scathing review from a Persona fan about all the ways that the game deviates from P5(R) due to being corrupted by the gacha formula and I lost all interest to play the game. I might still look up the story on YouTube because that is the one aspect of the game I'm still somewhat interested in.
On another note I'm curious as to how you can manage to play so many gacha games at once, seems like quite a lot.

I also wonder how I've managed to stay at it for so long! Time-wise I've definitely played more when I was playing MMOs like World of Warcraft actively. You'd think I'd grow tired of doing those dailies... but somehow it's still fun (and in comparison, in WoW I found dailies to be tedious, boring and annoying). And the events and stories are just all so great, I wouldn't want to drop any of these games at this point.

2025 Weekly Update 30
I'm posting early because I'll be busy tomorrow. I didn't actually play all that much this week, but I've gotten to a few really good and fun things!
Tales of Arise

I played just a little bit, so didn't make a lot of progress. We're currently looking for the lord of Mahag Saar.
Honkai: Star Rail

Pure Fiction reset. I cleared it with Jing Yuan/Sunday/Robin/Aventurine on the first half and Phainon/RMC/Bronya/Gallagher on the second half for the last stage.
The new banners are here. Firefly, Blade and Jingliu reruns. I'm not interested in any of them since I already have them all plus their Light Cones. And Firefly is already at E2.
No new event in the second half of the patch... why is this game so stingy with its content? :(
Genshin Impact

I've just watched the new trailer! So many interesting characters were just announced! My favorite were Durin and Flins. I hope either of them will work out for my account <3. Lauma and Varka do also look pretty good!
I didn't hate Natlan. But I'm so ready to get out of there and move on to a more... lets say 'serious and mature' region.
(Event) Reminiscent Regimen: Frenzy - Co-op battle event. I actually thought it wasn't too bad and actually fun for the few rounds I played?
Zenless Zone Zero

(Quest) The Impending Crash of Waves - This is season 2 Chapter 2 that released last week. I've only completed the first two parts of seven of the quest so far, but I already like it a lot. Alice and Yuzuha are great so far.
Wuthering Waves

I've wrapped up giving Lupa a half decent build just in time for the ToA reset. Here's how I cleared it:
Left side: Changli/Brant/Lupa
Middle: Camellya/Roccia/Shorekeeper
Right side: Xiangli Yao/Yinlin/Verina
I wanted to do a bit of farming before the new update dropped. Doing some more exploration in Rinascita was, of course, the most logical choice! I love the exploration in WW, but I've been neglecting it so much in Rinascita so far.
Of all of the exploration stuff I liked the Dream Patrols and Overflowing Palettes the most and the Fratellis' Challenges the least.
My exploration progress went from this...

To this by the end of the week...

Not too bad! And I got a good amount of pulls from it, too.
And the 2.5 update is here. And with that the release of Phrolova, who I'm luckily not interested in at all (I need to save for Brant!).
(Quest) Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens - The new main story released in 2.5, this is Chapter 2 Act 7. Before this quest I didn't care about Phrolova at all, but this quest was really beautiful. The first hour or so I was still skeptical, but it picked up the pace in the second half and it was so good. And sad. And beautiful. Did I dislike Rover a bit during this quest? Yeah. Did I think his behavior was understandable? Also yes!
Infinity Nikki

Wrapped up 'Drifting Toward Tomorrow', the daily task event and Alison's Travel Shop, the daily trade-in event.
I've seen the 1.8 previews and I'm not really sold on either of the outfits? I don't like the cat ears/tail and for the dragon outfit I only really like the horns. I'll wait until I can view them ingame before making a decision, though.
In any case, the new region looks really awesome and there's a lot of stuff that interests me and if I happen to not like the 5* outfit I'll just save the pulls, which would also be a good thing.
Now that I've seen the 5* outfits of 1.8 I've decided to pull for Mistbound Whispers (one of the two current 4* outfits). My only reason for not pulling for it was that if I liked both upcoming 5* outfits I would have needed all of my pulls for them, but now it looks like the chances are high that I might actually skip them, so here we go. Previously I thought I'd want to pull for the entire outfit plus the evolution, but with my first 10 pull I got the dress and I thought... you know what? The dress is the prettiest part of the outfit, I'm satisfied with just getting that, plus there are a few recolors available for it through the dying system, so I am satisfied. I was fully prepared to pull the dress last, so this was a nice turn of events.
I'm purging my outfit slots for the 1.8 update. This is what I had saved there:

I just love, love, love the wings! All three of them <3 And yes the last outfit that features the dress I'd just pulled is based on Phrolova from WW. I thought it fitted so well!
For 1.8 there'll probably be a lot of chinese style outfits. But I also want to do at least one more with this gorgeous new dress from Mistbound Whispers. And I'm pretty sure I'll use the wings again, too.
I'm posting early because I'll be busy tomorrow. I didn't actually play all that much this week, but I've gotten to a few really good and fun things!

Plan for the next week
Wrap up the current main story and event for ZZZ. See what the new updates have to offer and play lots of those, hopefully. As always I'm very excited for Infinity Nikki's update, because there's always so much beautiful, new stuff! But Genshin 5.8 is also coming, I'm just not particularly hyped for the summer update, I guess.

2025 Weekly Update 31
I've been catching up on stuff and I think by the end of next week I'll be all caught up with all of the time limited content.
Something I forgot to mention last week... I got lucky and bought a copy of both Monster Hunter Stories 2 and Detective Pikachu Returns for 9€ each. I could have gotten a lot of the main Pokemon and Mario games at the same price... but since I already own those I let someone else buy them. I haven't been buying a lot of games lately, but I couldn't say no to these!
Tales of Arise

Didn't get to it because I was busy clearing content in the other games!
Honkai: Star Rail

Just dailies, weeklies... one more week until the next update.
Genshin Impact

(Event) Fearsome Ferocious Firepower - Short but really fun mini game event. The sort of which I wouldn't have minded 20 more stages of.
The version 5.8 update is here. The last update before 6.0! Ineffa is the new character up, but I'm not interested in getting her. Citlali is having a rerun, but I don't need her constellations or weapon, so my pulls are safe.
Then there's the new summer event (I think this is my first summer event I'll ever play in Genshin) and the Nod-Krai prelude quest.
I've reached 160 accumulated pulls! With the pity I'm at on the banner I'm guaranteed the next character I want, even if I lose the 50/50. And I've seen some showcases of Flins and I'm really set on wanting him. I should be able to get over 200 pulls before 6.0, too and I'll be more mindful with my pulls in the 6.x versions. In Natlan I got Mualani and Kinich, for example, and never used them so far.
I got a Primordial Jade Winged-Spear from the standard banner at 24 pity. I don't really have a character that can use it and I would have prefered getting any other 5* character instead, but it's hard to complain about getting such an early drop and it will probably be an upgrade to at least some character.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Quest) The Impending Crash of Waves - Starting with part 3 of this quest this week. Alice and Yuzuha as trial characters! I really like Alice's playstyle, but I don't plan on getting her and well, I already have Yuzuha.
And throughout the story I really liked Alice and Yuzuha's dynamic. And Yuzuha with Manato was also fun.
Also the comic strips and cutscenes were pretty great during this quest! And Orphie is so cute! Makes me want to pull for her when she releases <3.
Overall this quest was so, so good! And sad. But everything resolved beautifully. This is by far the best storyline in ZZZ that I've played so far.
(Event) Legend of the Marvelous Fish Stall - This was just a daily turn in event.
I got the S-Engine Fusion Compiler from the standard banner at 77 pity. Not really useful for my account, but it is what it is.
(Event) Tales of Midsummer Dreams - I've completed the main story and the Archipelago Shoot mini game. I still need to do everything else. I absolutely enjoyed the mini game! But I didn't really care for the story. Though I must admit that the ending cutscene was pretty good.
I've also been doing some random stuff, such as completing the Simulated Battle Trial up to floor 5. And the Battle Trial: Glory to floor 4. Not hard to see that I suck at whatever these modes are, lol. I also got 1 of 9 stars on the current Deadly Assault for the first time... yay?
Wuthering Waves

I just got another Emerald of Genesis from the standard weapon banner at 78 pity, I think that might be the closest I've been to the hard pity of 80 yet? My EoG is now rank 3, so two more to fully rank it up for my Changli.
I've changed my mind on who/what I want to pull on. Having a S6 Brant would be nice, sure, but I think I'll try to get S2 Roccia first, instead. I feel like I love my team with Camellya and Roccia because it is really fun, but they could really use the upgrade and my Brant team already hits pretty hard, too. Doesn't mean I wont get his S6 eventually. There's always the next rerun :).
I was at 0 pity and not guaranteed when I started pulling. I had 84 pulls, which is enough to reach pity once. Took me 70 pulls and... I won the 50/50 for S1! And I bought her S2 from the shop for Afterglow Corals.
(Event) Dreaming Deep - Yeah. Dreaming Deep got an update and initially I wasn't going to play it, but they made it a little bit faster to play through and I was watching a TV series anyway, so I decided to just go for it and play it on the side. I didn't play through all of it. But I got almost all of the time-limited rewards, I'm only missing two or three.
I've also done some more exploration, so here's my current progress in Rinascita:

Looking good!
Infinity Nikki

The 1.8 update is finally here and with that the new 5* banners. Clouded Loong, the dragon outfit and Forever Bond, the cat outfit. Once I saw them ingame I was sold. I went all out, full evolution on Forver Bond and third evolution on the dragon. I just needed those black and white colors. And the shorter version of the cat outfit's dress. Watch me slap those cat ears and tail on every outfit from now on, haha.
I've also glowed up Forever Bond and I'll work on getting the resources to glow up Clouded Loong, too.
There's also a lot of other new stuff. New quests, events, a new map to explore... I'm interested to check out the new mini games. Everything seems to be the same as always, task event, picture taking event, gifties event... time limited exploration rewards. I don't really mind, though, since I actually really enjoy the time limited stuff in Nikki, even if I sometimes skip the text in the smaller extra quests.
The Starlit shop also got an update with two new dresses, shoes and three accessories that look really cute. I really need to do the weekly Starlit Pursuit again.
And there's also new time limited extra rewards for dyeing clothing pieces, which is nice because I do plan on filling my 7 clothing slots up again for this season, so I'll definitely be doing some dyeing.
(Quest) Chapter One: A Fateful Meeting, A Sudden Rain - I've completed the first chapter of the main story of Danqing Island. I liked the quest, the artist ability is great and the boss fight was good. The story got really dark, though. I can't wait to play the second chapter, unfortunately it only releases next week.
Mira Crown reset and I've just glowed up Clouded Loong in time for it so it was pretty easy to complete.
I've been doing a little bit of the new stuff here and there. I've also cleared the two new Eureka realms and upgraded a bunch of Eurekas while I was at it, but only until I ran out of blings.
I've also done some exploration of the new island (not a lot, though), but mostly I've been creating lots of new outfits! Some of those new pieces are so much fun and I'm not just talking about the cat ears and tail, haha.
I've been catching up on stuff and I think by the end of next week I'll be all caught up with all of the time limited content.

Good increase in all games. Partly because it was the monthly reset and partly because I was doing extra content in most of these games.
Infinity Nikki was basically at zero after pulling, so I've recovered a lot already. Enough for at least a 4* banner!

Honkai: Star Rail

Dan Heng's new form was just dripped. That reminds me of back when I first saw the drip marketing image of Imbibitor Lunae and thought it was fake, because I couldn't believe there would be alt forms of existing characters, lol. In any case, I really hope he'll fit into one of my teams so that I can have Dan Heng back. I haven't used IL in so long, he's not even in my team slots anymore :(. Of the four upcoming characters Dan Heng's new form is also the only one I'm really interested in so far.
Moc reset. I cleared it with full stars using these teams:
Anaxa, Sunday, Robin, Huohuo for the first half
Phainon, RMC, Bronya, Gallagher for the second half
Genshin Impact

Remember how I said that I'm not interested in getting Ineffa? Well, turns out she's important for Flins. And I want to build a good team for Flins. So I've decided to pull for Ineffa. At least I did safe up a lot of pulls and I was at 45 pity. And... i got her at 81 pity, winning the 50/50. Well, not really, I think it did the Capturing Radiance animation? So I checked and I guess I did actually lose the last 50/50's I was on, so I was probably guaranteed to win this one. Also, I think I'll use the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear I got last week on her. Feels like a win/win. And I'll still be able to farm enough pulls to guarantee Flins.
(Event) Sunspray Summer Resort - I've cleared part 2 of 4 of the questline for the summer event. I absolutely love it so far! The color stuff! The amusement park vibes! The whole island is just awesome <3. And the exploration as an Asha is really fun, too.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Tales of Midsummer Dreams - Picking up where I'd stopped last week. I've finished the surfing mini game first. I thought it was okay. I wasn't really good at it, but it wasn't really hard, either.
I did the fishing next, which I thought was okay. Not particularly fun or unfun. At least it wasn't a frustrating fishing mechanic.
All I'm missing now are Alice's and Yuzuha's special stories and then I'm done with the summer event.
The new banners are up. Alice and Yanagi (rerun), but I'm not interested in either of them.
Wuthering Waves

Whimpering Wastes reset. This time it was actually pretty enjoyable. Maybe because I was excited to try out my improved Camellya team? And it played so much more smoothly! I'm really happy with my investment. I cleared Whimpering Wastes with Camellya, Roccia and Shorekeeper on one side and Changli, Brant and Lupa for the other side.
(Event) Phantasma Dreamland - A board game style mini game. It was actually pretty fun! I finished it in one sitting. The Phrolova Chibi was so cute, too!
Infinity Nikki

(Quest) Not What It Was; Not Who She Is - Chapter 2 of the Danqing main quest. I did like the main quest. But the boss fight was buggy. Again. Just like the Serenity Island boss fight (I think it was that one). Honestly, it wouldn't hurt them to test their stuff a little before releasing it. Other than that the boss fight was really beautiful. I love the dragon! And I loved the ink world!
I've glowed up the Danqing Craft and Lifetime Yin Yuan outfits. I also evolved the Danqing Craft outfit. All of the Resonite Crystals I got so far also gave me the last piece needed to evolve the Shark Mirage outfit from the standard banner <3. That recolor is so cute! A little watermelon shark, haha. I'm so going to use this as my fishing outfit.
Then I moved on to the other activities on Danqing Island. I think by now all of the time gated stuff should be unlocked.
I've cleared all of the Styling Challenges. And I found all of the Gifties for 'Where Are the Gifties?' (I only had to look up two I couldn't figure out by myself).
I also collected 48 of the 68 Whim Jades for the time limited rewards for collecting those and I've collected all 10 pictures for the photography event.
(Event) Danqing Trails - 2D platforming and puzzle event that I thought was actually pretty good!
(Event) Five-In-A-Row - I've only cleared the first four stages since the rest isn't unlocked yet. This is also a permanent event, though. I think it's a really fun puzzle game, even if I suck at it and lose more often to the computer than not xD.
(Event) Fleeting Dreams - This was the task-based collection event of Danqing Island, which was easy to complete just by doing stuff around the island, really.
(Event) Momo, Where Are You? - A web event... honestly, I didn't like it too much since the timer was too unforgiving (and limited attempts, too). But I just took a screenshot of the stages I struggled with and that made it easier xD.
(Event) Rainbow-Colored Gift - Extra rewards for dyeing clothes. Always appreciated.
And that.... should wrap up all of the time limited stuff in Infinity Nikki for now. Of course I haven't done everything Danqing Island has to offer, there's still some quests, mini games and collectibles left, but I'm pretty satisfied for now.

One of the outfits I created this week, I really, really loved this one <3. So simple and cute with the cat ears.
I'm still trying to wrap up stuff. This week my focus was on the 1.8 stuff in Infinity Nikki and the summer events in Genshin and ZZZ.

I don't have a lot of pull plans right now.
Star Rail has nothing coming up that interests me, except for maybe the Dan Heng alt.
In Genshin I'm really looking forward to Flins and I hope I can get him and his weapon!
ZZZ has nothing interesting coming up, but when Vivian reruns I want to get her.
Wuthering Waves looks bleak. If they don't release anything that interests me I'll just go for Brant and Jiyan or Jinhsi copies.
And Infinity Nikki... well, I'm hoping they don't release anything good in the next two patches so that I can save up for 2.0. I have a feeling that one will have two outfits I'll absolutely want. It's just a hunch, though xD.

3.5 for Star Rail is coming next week and I can't wait for the continuance of the main story! Other than that I want to wrap up the summer event stuff for Genshin and ZZZ.

2025 Weekly Update 33
Ugh, it was SO hot this week, I hated it. Luckily it has cooled down now and next week is also looking a lot better c.c.
Tales of Arise

No progress.
Honkai: Star Rail

The 3.5 update is here. Hysilens and Kafka (rerun) are the banners that are up. Honestly, I wouldn't mind getting Hysilens and finally build a decent DOT team with my Kafka and Black Swan... but I'm just not really interested. Maybe I'll consider it when she reruns and not a lot of other stuff came along that I want until then.
Yeah, whatever, for now Kafka and Black Swan just stay among the characters I definitely regret pulling for. At this point I'm just hoping that Dan Heng's alt is going to be the last character I want from 3.x and maybe Archer's E1... so that I can save up for whatever 4.x brings along.
Genshin Impact

(Event) Sunspray Summer Resort - Spicking up where I'd stopped last week, with part 3 of 4 of the story. The story really takes a turn now! And it was so good. Poor Bennett. I love how they're still shaping the (back)story of such old characters.
Now that I'm done with the event story I can move on to the Holiday Event section (the mini games!).
With Flying (Graffiti) Colors - Co-Op event where you had to use Asha to paint scenery together.
Strikers Through the Storm - Just a little sharp-shooting mini game. Pretty fun, but way too short with just four stages.
Travels are Fuller With Friends - A 2D puzzle mini game. I liked it.
A Feast for the Senses - Battle event with a twist that was actually easy to complete.
And that concludes the summer event. It was actually really, really good!
I've leveled Ineffa, Ifa and Sethos to level 70. I also upgraded some more random weapons, talents and artifacts for the characters that are up in the current Imaginarium Theater. Going for Visionary Mode again. I cleared Act 10, but only got 4 stars this time (I feel like I goofed half-way through, but I can't be bothered to do it again).
I also cleared the current Stygian Onslaught on hard mode again. I almost cleared the next difficulty, too. But only almost... maybe once Flins is released I'll be able to do it. Ineffa was already a great help at only level 70.
Spiral Abyss also reset this week. Last time I'd obtained 34 stars. This time I actually managed 35! So close to a perfect clear!
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Tales of Midsummer Dreams - Picking up where I'd stopped last week. I was still missing Alice's and Yuzuha's special stories.
Windrider, Wavebreaker I-III: Alice's special story for the event. Nice little story and more of the surfing mini game.
A Mermaid Dream I-II: Yuzuha's special story for the event. There's more of the sharpshooter mini game and fishing. And the story was good, too.
Alice and Yuzuha have really grown on me as characters <3.
In any case... that concludes the summer event. I thought it was really fun. Definitely didn't care as much about the main story of it, though. Luckily the extra stories were short.
(Event) Ghost Ship Adventure - (Mostly 2D) combat event with Yuzuha and Alice. It was actually really fun!
(Event) "En-Nah" Chess Legend - What a fun little mini game! I didn't care for the story bits, but the gameplay was really fun and somehow I especially liked the multiplayer :D.
(Event) JoJo's Space Mystery - Honestly didn't care much about this event, so I just clicked through it.
Wuthering Waves

(Event) Overflowing Picture Book - More of the color mini game! This one is so much fun. They should have made way, way more levels for this one, it was too short!
I've decided to pull on Brant's banner anyway, since there isn't much coming up that I'm interested in right now. I got his S4 early after just 20 pulls, winning the 50/50. But then I lost the next 50/50 to Verina (at least the best character to lose to, she's now S3), I decided to buy a bundle for him and Brant said 'thank you' by having his S5+S6 come home in just 30 more pulls, making him my second S6 character. I don't think I've ever been as lucky as I've been with my Brant pulls <3.
(Event) Wuthering Exploration - Just daily tasks for extra rewards. I used to love this event, but nowadays I don't really need the resources it gives all that much anymore (and it doesn't give Astrites), still, it's no extra work at all, so I don't mind.
Infinity Nikki

I finally got the last evolution of the Silvergale's Aria outfit thanks to the double drop event.
Mira Crown reset again and I could clear it fully without upgrading anything extra. Which means I could use my accumulated resources to glow up some random outfits again, yay! I picked Daughter of the Lake for the pretty golden recolor and Momo Rain for the cute strawberry-ish recolor <3.

Plan for the next week
I don't think there's a new patch coming next week, unless I missed something (well, Nikki's mid patch update, but that's never a lot)? And all I have left to do is really good stuff! The recent main story update in WW. The main story in Genshin (and one event, idk if it's good or not, though xD). And, of course, the main story update and event in Star Rail which I'm super excited about! I just didn't have the time to play it yet! I got all of the small stuff and events out of the way this week.

2025 Weekly Update 34
I bought myself a new game this week! "Is This Seat Taken?" - I've heard good things about it. I was deciding between this one and "Tiny Book Shop" for a new cozy game to play, but ultimately picked the former because I liked the idea of playing a puzzle game more at the moment.
Decided to add a new 'daily breakdown' section below which I really like.
Tales of Arise

No progress.
New Pokémon Snap (replay)

I've decided to replay this. I've been meaning to do that for a long time now and finally got to it.
So far I've only explored the first three areas (Nature Park, Jungle and Beach). Taking it slow. This game is so relaxing and beautiful, I love it.
Is This Seat Taken?

I've completed all 5 stages + the special level in Barcelona so far. It's really fun so far, but I can see it getting trickier in later levels.
Honkai: Star Rail

I've finally gotten around to build my Archer team and I've also optimized my Anaxa team (Anaxa is finally faster than Sunday!). But because I'm an idiot I gave Anaxa the wrong planar set, so I have to refarm that.
The Anaxa team is so good now, but the Archer team still feels underwhelming, so I'll continue to farm for it. Or maybe I'll just drop it for now, I'm not having a lot of fun with it anyway. In that sense I'm also not longer considering Archer's E1.
Apocalyptic Shadow reset and I cleared it with my Myrice and my Phainon teams.
(Quest) Before Their Death - The new Trailblaze Mission of 3.5. The beginning was great. I liked Cerydra's introduction. And Evernight! That part of the story was soo good! I really love time shenanigans, too.
The cutscene were everyone 'disappears' was really good... and Lygus is such a good antagonist, to be honest. And the new Styxia map? I think it was beautiful!
But the story ends on such a cliffhanger! I really want to know how it continues...
(Event) Space Station Task Force - Just an assignment based event that was very quick to complete.
(Event) The Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant - Fun gameplay and a good story. I loved the competition between Phainon and Mydei and the Anaxa bit was hilarious. But not only that, all of the Amphoreus cast were present... just the sort of event I've wanted for a while now, featuring characters I actually care about!
Plus, the restaurant management was also fun.
Genshin Impact

New banners are up: Mualani and Chasca reruns. Obviously I'm getting neither. I already have Mualani and never build her (My biggest Natlan regret, to be honest, was getting her).
(Event) Tracing Vanishing Trails - It's the event centered around Yelan's new skin.
I liked the investigation 'mini games'. I didn't care about the story much, but it was okay. And Yelan's new skin looks really good!
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Failume Summer Puzzle! - Short but fun puzzle game. I wouldn't mind more of these. Loved the pictures.
Wuthering Waves

ToA reset, this time I made sure to clear the easier stages with my Calcharo and Jiyan, because I think they're changing something and some of the progress carries over the next time? Not sure, but if it does I used characters on the easier stages that I don't need for the harder stages! I cleared the middle with Xiangli Yao and for the last level of the left and right tower I used my Brant team.
(Quest) Even When Divinity Remains Silent: Rust, Sword and the Sun - Part 8 of Rinascita's 2nd chapter. I loved the interaction between Rover and Abby in the beginning.
The story was good. I liked the gameplay, it reminded me of the Reigns games, which I also liked back when I played them.
And Iuno and Augusta's interaction was also really good. I liked their voice actors!
Infinity Nikki

The mid patch update with the new 4* banners is here. Sword Master looks really cool. And I love the scarf thing on it. I bet it would go great with a lot of outfits! The Moonfairy outfit does also look really cute. But I think it doesn't really have paid-banner vibes. It looks too plain? Anyway, I pulled for the Sword Master and finished it in 33 pulls. I'm not going for the evolution, though.
I have finally completed the Sea of Stars part of the Heart of Infinity, now all I need to do is craft a copy of it to get the final evolution for the outfit, which I will probably do next week.

How is Star Rail getting so many pulls and Genshin getting so few?! I remember getting Star Rail to ~0 pulls when Genshin was at ~100 pulls, lol (I did use some pulls on Ineffa, but still).
Anyway, I did the math for Flins. I currently have 0 pity and I'm not guaranteed on the character banner and I'm at 60 pity for the weapon banner. So if I were to hit max pity all four times I would need 180 pulls on the character banner and 100 pulls on the weapon banner, so worse case scenario 280 pulls for Flins and his weapon.
I might do some extra grinding next week, but I think I wont have any trouble getting him and his weapon.
Daily Breakdown
Monday - Did my dailies and the endgame resets of ToA in WW and Apocalyptic Shadow in Star Rail. Played some Pokemon Snap to relax in the evening.
Tuesday - Just dailies and weeklies while I watched the Gamescom Opening Night Live (it was underwhelming, especially that WoW trailer...). Some more Pokemon Snap in the evening.
Wednesday - My day off, so lots of time! Watched some of the WoW Midnight Showcases which were spread out over the entire day. I actually planned to play some story content today, but then I didn't because I can't listen to the Showcase and the story at the same time, darn it xD. I did the Tracing Vanishing Trails Event in Genshin instead, because I didn't care about that one's story too much, so I played it without sound (and it was rather short anyway).
Thursday - I did the newest main story chapter in WW because it was the shortest (less than an hour) of the main story content I still hadn't done yet. I also started the 3.5 Trailblaze Mission in Star Rail, but that one's lengthier, so I didn't manage to finish it, I got about half-way through.
Friday - Wrapped up the 3.5 Trailblaze Mission in Star Rail.
Saturday - Played through the restaurant event in Star Rail.
Sunday - I did the puzzle event in ZZZ and played a bit of "Is This Seat Taken?".

Wuthering Waves 2.6 is coming next week and I'm definitely excited for the story and the events!
Other than that all I have left to right now is a small event in Nikki and the main story and latest event in Genshin.
I'm hoping to play more of New Pokémon Snap, maybe finish Is This Seat Taken? and hopefully even get back to Tales of Arise. I've got a week off work, so I definitely have the time since we don't have any major plans.

2025 Weekly Update 35
No work this week, so lots of time for gaming!
Tales of Arise

No progress.
New Pokémon Snap (replay)

I played a few rounds of the Reef and Seafloor and that's it.
Is This Seat Taken?

I've completed all of the Brussels and London levels. I'm still having a lot of fun. I thought the levels would get harder, but so far... not really. Two more cities to go :).
Honkai: Star Rail

Just dailies and weeklies.
Genshin Impact

(Event) An Easy-Breezy Natlan in an Easy-Breezy Summer! - Limited-time area exploration rewards for the summer map. I got the Easybreeze Holiday Resort map to over 80% exploration. Honestly, I loved the Asha and the color based mini games and puzzles. Some of the best exploration area so far.
(Event) Natlan: Plains of Flowing Flames - Limited-time rewards for completing the newest music album on a certain rating. Still a really fun game mode, so I'm happy they added at least some small rewards for it.
(Event) Mementos of Teyvat: Prelude of the Frozen Veil - The picture taking event is back! This one was so much fun. Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took:

(Quest) The Journey Home - This is the prelude Archon Quest in Genshin Impact 5.8. I'm finally getting to it! We meet Ineffa and help her find her way home. And Ifa is in this one, too! (at least for 5 minutes T.T)
The quest was okay and I liked Ineffa. The best part, however, was Varka's letter at the end. I am so, so ready for Nod-Krai!
There's still a week to go, but the 6.0 livestream happened and I thought it would be fun to look back at Natlan and it's characters and who I pulled for. I returned to Genshin with Natlan and throughout the entirety of it I tried to build my Alhaitham and Neuvilette teams and I did a lot of pulls I ended up regretting.
In 5.0 I wanted the new shiny character, so I pulled for Mualani and her weapon, which is my biggest regret of all times... because I hate her gameplay. Stupid, right?
I also got Kinich, which I do not regret. But he's not build yet, I underestimated how long it takes to build a team decently, to be honest.
I got Xilonen and Kazuha (I think? I don't remember if maybe I already owned him and only got his weapon at this point, to be honest) for my Neuvilette. I've since replaced them, but I don't really regret pulling for them... they're just on the bench for now, waiting to be build properly.
This was also when I got that lucky pull, getting Nahida 3 times in one 10-pull! I got Neuvillette, which I'll never ever regret. Zhongli and Baizhu, which I am still not really using. And then Citlali and Escoffier, which I do not regret. They are fun and upgraded my Neuvillette team so much! And lastly I got Ineffa, who's already fun to use but will definitely shine once I get Flins. Overall I realized I'm pulling too many characters just based on liking them.... without the time and resources to actually build them. For Nod-Krai I hope I can focus on my Flins team and ignore characters I wont be using anytime soon.
Overall I think Natlan as a region was okay. I liked the aesthetic of it and the exploration was fun. Some of the Archon and world quests were good, some were... boring. I think the vibe of Natlan just wasn't for me most of the time.
My favorite characters of this region were definitely Citlali and Ifa. And I enjoyed Escoffier's story quest, though I can't really say I remember much of the others, to be honest (and I didn't play Mizuki's yet).
For events, the Traveler's Tales were really great! And of course I loved the Sunspray Summer Resort. There were a lot of smaller, mini-gameish events that were pretty fun. Hard to name a favorite there... maybe the Beetle Battle one and definitely the Reel Ad-venture Film one.
For the story ones, definitely the one in Fontaine, Whirling Waltz. The business management, mini games and the quest were all really good. And it featured a ton of my favorite characters.
Of course I never really do everything, so there's still a lot of quests and exploration left for me to do in Natlan. I only got the initial areas to 100%. Next week, however, I will try to finally dive into Fontaine's Archon quest. I probably wont be able to finish it before Nod-Krai, but I'll finish it eventually. Just like Sumeru's Archon quest which I wrapped up during Natlan.
(Quest) Caribert - Sumeru Chapter III: Act VI. It's Sunday evening and I still had a bit of free time so I decided to do this quest now to pave the way for Fontaine next week. Caribert is rather short anyway, only 1-2 hours long.
This is the final Archon quest for Sumeru, so it's the one featuring Dainsleif, which is why I hadn't done it back when I was playing through Sumeru.
The quest actually starts with a letter from Kaeya! Not what I expected. And Dain just drops in when they are catching up, lmao.
And we meet some NPC and help him out. And there's some interesting stuff happening and revealed, though I did hope we'd see more of Dain.
Zenless Zone Zero

Suibian Temple has reached the max level of 45. I've been chipping away at this ever since it's release as sort of an extra daily task. And while it wasn't really bad and I somewhat liked the management aspect of this, it was also a bit tedious, to be honest, so I'm fine with it being over.
Wuthering Waves

2.6 is here. Carlotta and Shorekeeper are having their reruns, my Shorekeeper is already finished and I'm not interested in Carlotta. Augusta's gameplay is really fun and she can be used with Jiyan's weapon easily. But I feel like if I were to get her, I would also want Iuno and then Iuno probably needs her weapon. And I currently just don't have the resources for two characters and don't feel like grinding it out (and I don't know if I even have enough stuff left to be able to grind it out anyway). Plus I'm not really sold on Augusta's and Iuno's design anyway. So... I'm skipping these two. And who knows? Galbrena and Qiuyuan are probably coming in the next version update, both characters with designs I really like, so I'd better save my pulls.
(Quest) By Sun's Burning Hand - Rinascita Chapter II: Act VIII. We meet Augusta and join the hunt. Iuno is also there (still wish they'd put some more clothes on her... =_=). And that Avidius... can they make him a 4* character?
I think the quest was okay. I liked the pacing and characters and their interaction (Iuno and Avidius was great and I do like Iuno and Augusta together). Overall I wish they'd incorporate more of the old characters, though.
(Event) Windrider Project - To be honest I thought going back to Jinzhou and dealing with the Huaxu Academy we'd get to meet any of the playable character members, even if their department wasn't fitting or whatever. Why don't they use these events as a chance to flesh out their characters? :c Oh well, in any case, it was just a two minute thing to unlock flying in Jinzhou, which of course is great!
(Quest) May Applause Greet You - Oh my gosh, this quest was adorable, with the little Wootters! Oh yeah. And sad.
(Quest) Dream of a Rusted Sword: Part 1 - Looking for a hunter who hasn't returned to camp because he's tracking a Corrasaurus. We learn a few things about Augusta's past. I actually liked this quest, but I didn't see where part 2 starts yet.
I've also reached 80% exploration progress in the new area Sanguis Plateaus. I felt like this one was faster to complete than some of the previous maps? It had a few different battle challenges, but other than that nothing really interesting. Just the same old fun exploration.
(Event) Tidal Defense Simulator - A tower defense event! It was so much fun. I played through it in two sessions (one for each game mode) and had a blast with it. It had a decent length, too! I was looking forward to this event and I'm glad that it didn't disappoint :).
Infinity Nikki

I've wrapped up the Shop of Abundance (daily turn in event).
I also crafted a copy of the Sea of Stars outfit to get that final evolution for it.
I've also glowed up the Sword Master outfit.
(Event) Verdant Breeze - Another task event. I finished all stages of the Five-In-A-Row mini game for this and crafted a copy of the Lifetime Yin Yuan outfit and evolved it (and the evolution has such a pretty color <3).
And that's it! I've completed all of the current limited content in Nikki. Ready for the update next week, hehe :D.
The preview for the 1.9 5* banner is here and luckily it's not my style at all, so I can save my pulls!
Since 1.8 Danqing Season is coming to an end... here are the 7 outfits that made it into my outfit slots for this season:

The two on the top were my favorite!
No work this week, so lots of time for gaming!
Currently Playing
Tales of Arise - Playtime: 13:55 (PS5)
New Pokémon Snap - Playtime: 5:32 (Nintendo Switch)
Is This Seat Taken? - Playtime: 3:44 (Steam)
Current Gacha Games & Pull Count

Finally over 200 pulls in Genshin. My Flins savings are coming along nicely. The other games look good, too. Seems like whatever characters I want next I'll be able to get easily.
Daily Breakdown
Monday - I did the weekly Divergent Universe run in Star Rail. Wuthering Wave's weekly gamemode is unavailable this week due to maintenance so I did the weekly Hollow Zero run in ZZZ instead which I only do occasionally.
In the evening I played some Genshin and Pokemon Snap.
Tuesday - Wrapped up a few small things in some of the gacha games and I completed one more set of levels in Is This Seat Taken.
Wednesday - Wrapped up the last event and current main quest in Genshin.
Thursday - Wuthering Waves 2.6 release day, I started the new main story chapter.
Friday - Wrapped up the new main story chapter in Wuthering Waves and did some exploration/side content.
Saturday - Played through the first part (Pass Guardian) of the Tidal Defense Simulator event in Wuthering Waves and I completed one more set of levels in Is This Seat Taken.
Sunday - Played through the second part (Deathtrap Mode) of the Tidal Defense Simulator event in Wuthering Waves and did one quest in Genshin.

Plan for the next week
ZZZ 2.2 and Infinity Nikki 1.9 are releasing next week.
I'm not super excited about the ZZZ update. I just hope the story will be good! The new characters aren't really interesting to me, but I bet the events will be fun as always.
As for Infinity Nikki... 1.9 is the Home update. In the past, housing systems in other games weren't ever my thing, so I'm not sure if this update will be for me or not.
Other than that I have one more week off next week and I hope I can finally do some of the Fontaine Archon quest in Genshin, partially because I want to catch up on old quests and because I want to farm for more pulls for Flins.

Tales of Arise

Honkai: Star Rail

Another Pure Fiction reset. Cleared it with my Firefly and Anaxa teams.
Cerydra is here. I've been thinking about getting her for my Anaxa or Phainon and I think I'll get her for Phainon, replacing RMC, actually. I'll use him with Cerydra, Bronya and another support or sustain for the last slot.
I'm currently at 53 pity and not guaranteed on the character banner. Unfortunately I lost the 50/50 at 75 pity to Fu Xuan. And I got Cerydra at 79 pity after that and her E1 at 82 pity, thankfully I won the 50/50 or there probably wouldn't have been an E1 xD.
I'm currently at 27 pity on the LC banner and guaranteed, I don't remember what I was trying to get last here (Tribbie, I guess, who now uses DDD?), but it works out well for Cerydra now. I still have 30 pulls left, so getting the pity to 57. I'll definitely be able to get her LC before the banner ends. Worst case I'll need 23 more pulls and I haven't done the recent event yet.
(Event) Old Brews & New Friends - Speaking of which, lets just get to this event! I loved the original event, so I'm glad they are bringing it back.
We actually get to meet a lot of fun characters, Herta was hilarious.
Ratio is so sassy! I love him, haha. Really glad he was included.
Everyone else was fun, too and I loved the silly jokes and puns.
It was a rather short event, but really fun. This patch really is great, loved everything so far!
I still had some Ambrosia I hadn't delivered yet and a few unread chapters of 'As I've Written', which gave me a few more pulls and I finally got Cerydra's LC at 65 pity.
I'v attempted the current MoC again and for the very first time I cleared it in 0 cycles (not that I usually cared about that, but damn am I happy about that achievement!) Here are the teams that I used:
Anaxa - Sunday - Cerydra - Ruan Mei
Phainon - Bronya - Robin - RMC
And to be honest, I LOVE Anaxa. And Cerydra made him SO much more fun. I had originally thought I'd get her for Phainon, but this is so much better. Running him sustainless was a bit nerve-wracking, though, so I actually hope I can use the new Dan Heng for him in the future and just keep running Phainon with random sustain units. Anaxa gets all the love and Phainon gets the budget team, haha. Still does a great job.
Speaking of Dan Heng's new 5*. There are rumors that he's going to be given away for free, but just in case that wont be true I'm actually motivated now to farm a few pulls for him. If anything I might want his E1 or LC and I'm super stoked to do some content now! Soo I've decided to do some Companion Missions. They don't release any new ones and I haven't done many of the old ones yet. It'll be nice to revisit some of the older characters, though.
(Quest) An Unxpected Turn of Events - Arlan's companion mission. Arlan has disappeared and we're using Peppy to track him down together with Asta.
Okay... that was just hilarious and funny. Asta and Arlan are actually really great. And the voice acting was so good. Asta's ranting was so cringy and funny. And the quest even gives a cute little Peppy avatar! I should have done it so much sooner! Now I'm even more motivated to do more of these old quests.
(Quest) The Dragon Returns Home - Dan Heng's Companion Mission. This is one of the quests I've been putting off because I knew I'd love it and I always feel like I want to keep some content to explore for when I really, really want to play Star Rail, especially with them putting out so little content. But I guess now is the time to do it!
Dan Heng wants to meet the current high elder of the Vidyadhara. Of course, Jing Yuan is there, always happy to see him. And Bailu is still as cute as ever.
It was a good quest with some interesting stuff happening and some of my favorite characters.
(Quest) Evanesce Like the Morning Dew - Bailu's Companion Mission. Bailu is so cute. She's still one of my favorite characters. I love dragons, so as far as their design is concered she and Imbibitor Lunae are really great <3. I'm still mad Lingsha didn't get dragon features, just because of the whole 'only high elders get horns and a tail' blahblah. Wait, then again, Taoran had a horn, right? Still wish he'd been a 4*, I hope we get more Vidyadhara characters in the future.
In any case, back to the quest. I thought it was a good one. We get to know Bailu more and learn more about the mara-struck.
(Quest) A Knight Stranger - Since I'm already doing missions on the Luofu, I'm doing this one next. This is Luocha's Companion Mission. Welt's getting flashbacks, the poor guy. And March's impersonation of Luocha was... hilarious. The ending of the quest was a bit boring, though.
(Quest) Total Recall - This is March 7th's Companion Mission. To be honest, with the appearance of Evernight it's about time I actually did this one.
It's so nice to see Fu Xuan again! She's really great. The quest was good, too. Nothing's really resolved by it, but it was a nice companion mission.
I'm not completely done with the companion missions yet, but I needed something else for a change so I did some exploration next. So I cleared the last two Loufu map I hadn't fully done yet, the Shackling Prison and the Skysplitter.
Genshin Impact

Imaginarium Theater reset again. This time I am missing two characters at level 70 for the full buffs. I decided to level up Gamin and Candace. I did attempt the Imaginarium Theater... but that run sucked so badly, I only made it to Act 7. I might give it another go later on. It shouldn't be so hard, Hydro, Pyro and Dendro included my best characters and I could even borrow a Mavuika, why did my run suck so much :(?
(Quest) Prelude of Blancheur and Noirceur - Chapter IV: Act I. I'm finally starting the Fontaine Archon quest.
We reach Fontaine. Furina's entrance truly was something else, lol. And I really liked Lyney and Lynette.
We even meet Childe! That's a nice surprise. After that we go to the Opera Epiclese to watch Lyney's performance. Neuvillette's introduction was definitely different from how I thought it would go. The magic show was really cool, but of course it had to end tragically.
The trial that followed was good, too. I think it was a great introduction to Fontaine and some of its people.
Zenless Zone Zero

2.2 released this week, but I didn't play any of it yet, just did the dailies.
Wuthering Waves

Whimpering Wastes reset, I used Xiangli Yao and Brant again and it was fun, just like last time!
They also updated the weekly Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways gamemode and I really like the changes.
Infinity Nikki

Another Mira Crown reset. I didn't have to upgrade anything to fully complete it, so I used my resources to glow up Dreamy Glimmer and Rosy Reverie, since I think both outfits fit the new season, so I might use some of their pieces for my new fits :).
I've also evolved the Breeze Tea Time animal grooming outfit since I got the last piece from the permanent banner. The blue recolor is so cute, maybe I'll try making an outfit with it!
The 1.9 update, Music Season, is here. So far I love all of the new clothing pieces (the playful shop outfits and accessories, the starlite store pieces... I'll have so much fun creating outfits with these!) except for the banner outfits. I mean, it does look great, but it's just not my style at all, which means I'll save my pulls and by the time the next banner comes around I'll be guaranteed to get it if I want it, which is nice, too.
(Quest) A Soung Without End - The 1.9 main quest. What a beautiful and tragic story. I actually liked it a lot.
(Quest) Set Off for a Warm Place - We meet Oriin. He's interesting! I hope he'll reappear again in the future. I like it when they introduce more unique NPCs, they just have to use them more and not make them disappear after one quest!
In any case, this is just the small quest that leads to the home island.
(Quest) Life in a Warm Place - We meet the Yardlings (SO cute <3) and learn the Planting Ability Outfit and Construction Ability Outfit and after that the quest is on a 10 hour timer for now, after that we've constructed the Guest Arch and that concludes the quest. I don't know what the point of the 10 hour timer on this one was, but okay xD.
I also crafted the Star Collecting, Fish Keeping and Animal Inviting Ability Outfits.
(Quest) New Friend Carried by Stars - The Stardew Valley colab quest! This was completely underwhelming. At least the outfit it gives is really cute.
I did some more of the time limited stuff. Collected all of the Gifties, completed the piano pieces and the task event for the Swallow Whispers outfit. Took all of the pictures for the photo album task and completed all of the random quests for this season. Now all that's left is some of the home update stuff.

Version 6.0 for Genshin Impact is coming next week and I'm super excited for that. I have 235 pulls saved up and by the time Flins releases in the second half of 6.0 I'll have enough pulls for him and his weapon. I can't wait! It's been 15 weeks since I started saving and I'm so glad that I did <3. Flins will be so worth it!
I hope I can wrap up ZZZ 2.2 before that, though.

Version Luna 1 is here. Is this still called 6.0? I don't know. Doesn't matter anyway. As with every big version update there's a lot of stuff to do and check out. Let's talk about the banners first. Lauma is the new character that's up. While my account would benefit from her, I don't plan on getting her (my savings are all for Flins). Nahida has her rerun, but my Nahida is already C4, so she's good. Then there's the Sumeru Chronicled Banner. I would love to get Alhaitham Constellations. I've been planning to pull for copies of him for a while now. But now I need to save those pulls for Flins. I think a good new DPS will be better for my account.
For my free invite character I'm chosing Diluc, getting him to C5. So when I finish the progress thing I can get him to C6! Then of course the top-up reset. All funds will go to Flins <3.
Then there's the new Anecdote Chronicles! It's so awesome that they've turned this into a permantent thing! I love randomly finding characters for a quick chat <3.
Then there's the Valiant Chronicle. Something about the Local Legends? I can't really do anything with this yet, so I don't really know what it is.
There's some QOL updates that I really like, too. Condensed Resin now holds more resin, making dailies a little faster still.
The battle pass now gives local specialties, which is awesome, because that's the part I hate about leveling new characters.
Test runs that have previously been completed do not need to be completed again for the rewards!
And there's now a red dot in the inventory when you have enough of one of the 'offering' items to get another level. Never 'missing' those rewards again, heh.
(Quest) A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves - Nod-Krai Archon Quest Act 1. We're finally going to Nod-Krai! But first lets say goodbye to Natlan. Aw... there's a party, but we don't get to see it! That's so unfair q.q.
And we don't get to meet Varka yet... but Flins appears sooner than expected! He's so polite. I like him already. And we meet Lauma, but somehow I don't like her very much, especially a certain design choice of her character.
But Aino is super cute! I'm so happy she'll be on my Flins team.
In part two of the quest we finally meet Columbina and that underground area looks really beautiful. Well that first meeting is rather mysterious, but I think Columbina is really cute.
After that... well, I did not expect what took place, but it was pretty cool.
We also get to meet Nefer for the first time and I absolutely love her design. Too bad she probably wants Lauma and I don't need another team, or maybe I could have considered getting her. And then there's also Jahoda! She's so hilarious! Her expressions are golden!
Moving on to part three of the quest. We infiltrate the Fatui Base together with Lauma and Jahoda. That infiltration sequence actually wasn't too bad, I'm surprised. I usually hate those in most games.
And that final cutscene was so good and sad.
Overall this was one of the best archon quests so far and such a great introduction for the new areas and characters. Of course I still need to play Act 2 next!
(Quest) Elegy of Dust and Lamplight - Nod-Krai Archon Quest Act 2. First we have to help out Aino, then we get to work with Nefer again. We have to mix a bunch of drinks to gather intel, which was fun.
After that we return to Lauma and we get a glimpse of an old memory before we head to see Columbina again and we get a lot of new information from her. We also unlock a whole quest chain or something menu revolving around Columbina.
And then we finally get to check on the Lightkeepers. I want to see Flins again already!
All of those cutscenes were just amazing! I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire time of that second half of the act. The big bad guy, the Fatui... our new friends... Nod-Krai has surpassed all of my expectations. And my top three new characters so far are definitely Flins, Aino and Jahoda. Though I also like Columbina very much. And design-wise my favorite is definitely Nefer.
Next week I'll definitely be busy with exploration and side quests and I'm super excited for both!
Zenless Zone Zero

Version 2.2 released last week but I didn't play any of it yet. The banners that are up are Seed (new) and Trigger (rerun). I think Seed is really cute, but I don't like her overall design. And Trigger, while I could use her with Harumasa I don't really like her gameplay. So I'm not getting either of these characters.
(Quest) Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night - Season 2, Chapter 3, the most recent main story that consists of 5 parts.
The chapter starts by us being contacted by the mayor and we're to take part in the operation against the Exaltists while working with the Defense Force, so Isolde, Trigger, Soldier 11... Seed and Orphie. And Orphie is so cute! I love her design. Her eye color and her hair color... and at least she's not dressed too flimsy. And her interactions with Magus are really fun.
And oh my gosh, Zhao is sooo cute! Pink bunny *-* I hope she'll be playable! And I also like Damian more and more and I really want him to be playable, too.
The final battle was really epic! And the last scene was, well... intriguing.
Wuthering Waves

(Event) Marks of the Wild - Very fun puzzle event. I did the three daily puzzles every day. Would have liked there to be more, though. But I say that every time a puzzle event is fun xD.
Infinity Nikki

Since I had enough resources saved up again I decided to glow up more 4* outfits: The Queen's Move, Dream Banquet and Cheering Heartbeat. I'm so close to getting the last 5* piece from the standard banner and glowing up 4* outfits gives one pull for the standard banner, but sadly it wasn't enough. Still might need up to 7 more pulls. After that I can finally go for one of the final evolutions (which will probably take a year).
The new 4* banners were announced and they look really good, especially the idol outfit, but the rockstar one does also look great! Though I'll hold off my decision of pulling for them or not until I can check them out ingame.

Well, I'm still not done with Genshin. I'm super exited to explore Nod-Krai and do some of the side quests. I also still need to check out the events in ZZZ.

428 Intertwined Fates?! I barely have 70 😂. And just like you, I'm planning to spend all my funds on Flins, either for his weapon or maybe even his C1, I haven’t decided yet and hopefully I win. I literally pulled Ineffa just for him. The Archon Quest was super long, but it was the first time I actually got interested in the story. The cast is amazing. I was surprised by how much I ended up liking Jahoda which I didn’t expect her personality to be like that. Aino is absolutely adorable, and the chemistry between her and Ineffa is so fun to watch. Nefer looks really cool too; I might go for her since I accidentally pulled Lauma. Good luck to your future pulls!
Also... just curious... how many gacha games are you playing? O_o

I know... one of these days I'll have to pause some to get some non gacha games in again >.<. But it's so hard to decide when everything's so much fun and I'm invested in all of these stories.
I also pulled Ineffa just for Flins! I didn't even particularly like her when I pulled for her, but now, after the most recent Archon Quest I love her a lot.
Luckily I don't really like Lauma, I would have pulled for her if she'd been a huge upgrade for Alhaitham, but she isn't. I like Nefer's design, but I'm not interested in getting her (yet). I'm actually hoping for Durin and Columbina (if Durin is good for Diluc or another character I want to build and if Columbina is good for Flins I will get them both), but overall I want to try to pull for less characters since it takes me ages to build them.
Good luck on your pulls, too! I hope we'll both get lucky for Flins >:3. I feel like I've been saving and saving and saving... I wanna pull already. One more week!

2025 Weekly Update 38
Tales of Arise

New Pokémon Snap (replay)

No progress.
Is This Seat Taken?

Played through the New York stages. So far I like the restaurant and school levels best. But making two people share a cup of coffee? That's just mean!
And I hate the boat stages. But the blind date one was funny (and easy).
One more city to go!
Honkai: Star Rail

Another MoC reset. Cleared it with Anaxa and Phainon without any problems.
Genshin Impact

Spiral Abyss and Stygian Onslaught reset one day after another! I am not waiting for Flins before I do these.
In Spiral Abyss, last time I got 35 stars. And this time, for the very first time ever I got the full 36 stars! I just had to use Ineffa with my Neuvillette and the other side was easy with Alhaitham <3.
I completed Stygian Onslaught on Hard again, Menacing is still too difficult.
I've just unlocked the last Meeting Point in Nod-Krai. I liked the Cemetery story best, then the Craftshop and lastly the Frostmoon Enclave, but overall I think this is a really good system.
After that I did some exploration and unlocked the remaining Waypoints I could find. I'm currently sitting at a 52% overall exploration for Nod-Krai.
(Event) Clink Clank Clash - Loved the story. Aino and Ineffa are just too cute!
The mini games were really fun, too. And the battle one gave so many mob drops, I'm sure those will come in handy!
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Wish Bottle Adrift - Daily energy usage event, straight forward and easy to complete.
(Event) Band of Brave Bangboo - What a fun tower defense game (First the one on WuWa and now this, while completely different they were both so much fun, lol).
I loved it. It had a great length and especially those last levels with changed rules were super fun. ZZZ really has great mini games, well... most of the time.
(Event) Spotlight Showdown - Just the average battle event. Still, it was fun enough and I always like trying out teams I don't own. Especially since I still need a third one in ZZZ eventually (though right now nothing I like seems to release... I wonder if I'll end up getting copies of Hugo and Miyabi instead with all my savings, heh).
Now that my two teams are coming along so nicely I decided to go back to completing Shiyu Defense levels. I completed all of the stable nodes. Then four of the seven critical nodes (those are the endgame reset) and three of the disputed nodes. After those I didn't feel like doing more and I definitely need to work on my character's drive disks. But that gave a good amount of polychromes (a total of 10 pulls!).
Wuthering Waves

ToA reset. The left and right tower keep their lower level clears now, so it's good I cleared them with weaker units last time. I cleared the last level of each with my Jinhsi team.
The middle tower has four levels now, though, so it requires two teams to complete it. I completed the first two levels with Camellya and the other two with my Brant team. Right now I don't have any problems with it, but I guess at some point I'll really need some newer dps characters.
The new banners are up. Ciaccona (rerun - still not interested, love her design but she doesn't fit any of my teams) and Iuno (new - still on the fence with her design, but she sure is fun to play as... maybe I'll have to look at a few showcases with her and Jiyan, although she isn't tailor-mode for him since she's for Augusta. But at this point I'd rather skip and see if anything in the future is more to my liking, because if not I can still choose to upgrade my Camellya and Jinhsi instead of getting anything new.).
(Quest) By Moon's Fated Light - Rinascita Chapter 2 - Act 9 that released this week. Okay. Nope. I'm getting tired of the whole Gathering Wives' crap. Not every character has to latch on to the Rover for the story to be good. Are they unable to make a story about any two of the other characters? Couldn't this have been about Iuno and Augusta? And I wish they would incorporate "old" characters into future story acts. This game is so beautiful and I loved a lot of the story and presentation in the past, but... the things that bother me are starting to get bigger.
Well, still, the quest mechanics and presentation were good as always. I liked the hand-holding part, but I was a bit sad that there were no puzzles for it.
Let's just hope there'll be somewhat more of a conclusion for Iuno later on. But with their current trend she'll most likely just be forgotten.
Also...

They can't give us such a great piece of art of Avidius and not make him at least a 4* T_T
(Event) Hunt of Ash and Steel - Just tasks around the new map/story for some extra rewards. Almost completes itself by playing the main story acts.
Infinity Nikki

Mira Crown reset again, it now has auto-clear up to stage 4, which is nice. Makes it a little faster to go through. In any case, I had no trouble clearing it.
Then I glowed up the following 4* outfits: Rosy Reverie (love the red hair, but not the green varient of the outfit), Lotus Heart (not much of a change color wise, I still love the base color most) and Symphony of Strings (love the color of the dress!).
Of course that means three more pulls on the standard banner, but I still didn't get that last 5* piece. Oh well. I'm guaranteed to get it in the next 4 pulls though!
The new 4* banners are here. Unfortunately they are both one-piece dresses, I was hoping they'd separate the top and bottom :(. I'm not a huge fan of the rock-star outfit as it is, but I think the individual pieces are really great, especially the hair and socks. And that banner has a really cut dress for its deep echoes. Seeing it in game, the idol outfit just doesn't interest me. It's too shiny/glossy? Plus, we get a free outfit for this mid-patch updat that I feel has a similar-ish vibe that I like a lot more.
So for now I'll do 25 draws on the rock-star outfit for the deep echoes, if I get the hair I'll stop, if I don't, I'll complete the outfit.
I ended up getting the hair with my 25th pull, but I was already at 7/8 pieces by then, so I just went for the last one, too, completing the outfit at 28 pulls (40 was the maximum needed, so that's pretty good).
I've completed the tasks for the Blossoming Future outfit and the new Eternal Celestial tasks event, too. I'm happy for the new free outfit (the hair is especially gorgeous!), but I was hoping for a little more, like at least a little quest to go with it and the new area.
I've also glowed up the new *4 Counterflow Concerto. I don't like the recolor, but the glowed up hair dyes a lot better than the base one, so that's something at least.

The only definite pull goal I currently have is Flins in Genshin Impact. I would love to get him to C2R1. I hope it'll be possible. But it's looking good, I've never been more prepared. And I still have a week to save up more! And there'll be the anniversary rewards, too! And of course the duration of the banner to get more pulls if necessary.
I also might want an Eidolon for Permansor Terrae in Star Rail, I think I'll be able to guarantee one 5* by the time he releases. If I'm lucky maybe he'll even get to E2? One can dream, right? :3 I think the recommended pull order is E1 -> E2 and then his light cone, so that's what I'll likely be going for.
Daily Breakdown
Monday - Didn't have much time, so aside from dailies I just did the MoC reset in Star Rail and ToA reset in WuWa.
Tuesday - Did the weekly resets for Star Rail, WuWa and even ZZZ this time and did some of the ZZZ events.
Wednesday - I did the Spiral Abyss and Stygian Onslaught in Genshin.
Thursday - Unlocked the last meeting point and did some exploration in Genshin.
Friday - Completed the Clink Clank Clash event in Genshin.
Saturday - Did some of the mid-patch activities in Nikki, some of it is time-gated though, so I'll only be able to wrap it up tomorrow. There's also a lot less than I thought there'd be. Took me all but 5 minutes maybe. After that I played through the latest main story act in WuWa.
Sunday - Wrapped up the time limited stuff in Nikki. Did a bit of Shiyu Defense in ZZZ.
Later I played through one more set of levels in 'Is This Seat Taken?'

Plan for the next week
The next patch of Star Rail is finally coming! As always I'm super excited. Especially for the new story, but also for the new endgame mode. And the story recap function! I've been wanting to replay some of those old chapters. I want to replay Penacony. For Aventurine. Yeah. <3
Other than that I want to continue exploring Nod-Krai in Genshin and I still have Seed's event in ZZZ which I could do. Maybe on a quiet, chill evening. I'm not 100% sure about wanting to do it since I don't care much about Seed. But who knows, I might like the quest if I give it a go? Aside from the extra story/combat stuff (idk what it's called) there are also limited-time rewards for doing her agent story, so no better time for it than now.
I will also try and wrap up 'Is This Seat Taken?' for real this time.

2025 Weekly Update 39
I was feeling a little under the weather this week so I didn't really play much. I was so excited for the new version in Star Rail, but I haven't even played the story yet T-T.
I did however finish watching something for once: Season 1 of Hell's Paradise (13 episodes). I thought it was fine. I'll probably watch the second season if I catch it.
I've also cleaned up my playing list for now.
Is This Seat Taken?

Only completed two more stages.
Honkai: Star Rail

Version 3.6 is finally here! Let's take a quick look at the banners that are up first. Evernight (new) - I love her design, but I don't need her. I don't have Hyacine and I don't want to improve my Castorice.
The Herta (rerun) - Yeah, still not interested. Luckily, Anaxa works well without her, otherwise I would have considered getting her.
(Endgame Mode) Anomaly Arbitration - The new endgame mode that requires three full teams and that's extra challenging. I beat the final stage in two cycles with the premium Phainon team (Phainon, Sunday, Cerydra, HuoHuo).
The left and right trial stages were easy, but I struggled with the middle one. My Anaxa team always came just shy of beating it in two cycles. So I kicked Anaxa out for this one. Here are my final teams which I used to get 3 stars on each stage:
Knight (I): Lingsha (E1S1), Fugue (E0S5Pearls), Ruan Mei (E2S1), Firefly (E2S1)
Knight (II): Phainon (E2S1), Sunday (E2S1), Cerydra (E1S1), HuoHuo (E0S1)
Knight (III): Castorice (E0S1), Mydei (E1S1), Tribbie (E1S5DDD), Luocha (E2S1)
King in Check: Phainon (E2S1), Sunday (E2S1), Cerydra (E1S1), HuoHuo (E0S1)
I'm pleased. It's a lot of fun. And it doesn't give too meaningful rewards and the more important rewards are for the easier clears. As for the cosmetic rewards, I love those. A cute pet, PomPom clothes and avatars. Not sure what I'll get for now, maybe the pet?
I don't think my builds are all that good, though I'm always trying to improve, but I do go for important Eidolons and Light Cones a lot, so of course that helps.
Once 4.x comes around hopefully focusing on just one or maybe two new teams will be enough to stay on top of these endgame modes. I really want to condense my focus a little more. Getting less characters, but hyper-investing into them sounds more fun to me right now. I already have too many characters sitting around that are basically unused.
Genshin Impact

Just dailies.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Floral Voyage into the Unkown - Seed's TV schedule. It has the Spring Extravaganza event stages that allow you to try out Seed in combat to the fullest and extra rewards for completing her agent story.
I completed the battle stages first. I like how they give you so many chances to try characters out. And this has simply shown me once again that I do not want Seed. I don't really like her design, nor how she plays.
After that I started Seed's agent story.
(Quest) Flora of the Blooming Valley (I-III) - Seed's agent story. It wasn't a bad quest, I just don't really care much about Seed. But I loved the ending. So sad :(.
The new banners are up, too. Orphie & Magus (New), which I really like design-wise, but not gameplay-wise... and I don't really have a team for her anyway, so I'll skip her. And Evelyn (rerun), who I don't care about at all. That just means I can continue to save my pulls. And if nothing I like comes up... I will go for that M6 Hugo once he reruns <3. That at least is my current plan.
(Quest) Problem Soldier Boot Camp - Another combat event with a twist. Quick and easy and actually rather fun.
Wuthering Waves

(Event) Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra) - This was trying to be funny. I didn't think it was bad, per se, but I somehow didn't enjoy it much, either? A play on game bugs. My game crashed three times on the last level, though, which was frustrating and probably not part of the event. They should have included more characters, even if they were just NPCs we already know.
Infinity Nikki

Wrapped up Alison's Travel Shop, the usual daily exchange event. And that's the last of the limited content, now I wait patiently for the next update.
They've previewed the next 5* banner. It's a beautiful dress. Different with the flower designs and I like the witch-style. The 4* is also rather unique. Right now I'm still leaning more on skipping it, though, but I'll have to see it in-game first.
I've glowed up the 4* outfit Afternoon Shine, which gave me one more standard pull... which gave me the last piece for the 5* outfit Blossoming Stars! I finally have all of the standard 5* outfits <3. Now I just need to decide which I want a copy of first. And I think I'll be going for Crystal Poems.
Since 1.9 is coming to an end, here are my 7 outfit slots for that season before we go into 1.10 next week:

The first two were based on the main story of 1.9. After that comes shop and home update inspired outfits and the last one is for the 4* banners, though I basically only added the ears/make up. My favorite one for 1.9 was the second from the right on the top row! So colorful and fun.

I was planning on grinding to 500 in Genshin for Flins, but then I wasn't feeling well all week and barely played. Oh well.
All the other games are looking good, too. I have enough pulls for whichever characters I could want next, but no real pull goals right now, which is good, I suppose.

2025 Weekly Update 40
I finished watching another anime! Season 1 of 'Children of the Whales' (12 episodes). I liked this one a lot. Fun characters and an interesting story. I wonder if there'll be a second season some day or not. Maybe I'll have to pick up the Manga.
I'm thinking of adding back an entertainment section to the blog, now that I've gotten back into watching a few things. I used to have it, but removed it during the revamp.
We've also bought a Switch 2 because we got a pretty good deal for it! Don't have any Switch 2 exclusive games for it yet, though, but we are probably getting Mario Kart World for it soon. And I've preordered the new Pokemon.
Is This Seat Taken?

No progress.
Honkai: Star Rail

(Endgame Mode) Apocalyptic Shadow - Cleared it with my Firefly and Myrice teams without any problems.
I've just seen a leak that suggests that one of my favorite characters might be getting a new form... and now I'm seriously contemplating to save up my pulls until it proves true or not to be able to E6 them again. Dan Heng PT will be given out for free. Maybe his E0S0 will be enough for him to replace HuoHuo or Gallagher, then I'll be happy. And maybe I can just skip Cyrene and be like whatever. I can try the endgame modes once she's out and see how it goes and decide then.
(Quest) Back to Earth in Evernight - The newest Trailblaze Mission released in 3.6.
This quest was so beautiful. I loved it. I liked the new areas, the cutscenes were awesome and that reunion had me in tears T-T. I can't wait for the conclusion to Amphoreus.
Genshin Impact

(Quest) The Special Support Squad's Tale - Just a very quick quest at the lighthouse that has you operate it to guide some spirits.
(Quest) The Shoemaker's Children Go Barefoot - The first of the Selenic Chronicles quests for the Final Night Cemetery. It's located at the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. We find some treasure chests and investigate. We end up helping Netochka, a thief (love her design by the way). The first boss fight was really creative. Overall it was a good quest. Hopefully we'll meet Netochka again. The quest also gave a really cute avatar of Netochka!
Flins is finally here. I ended up saving 475 Intertwined Fate for him and my goal is his C2. Depending on how the pulls go I might aim for his R1, or I'll just use my PJWS on him instead (translation: I get lucky, he gets his weapon, if not then not haha).
I was at exactly 0 pity, my last pull had been Ineffa. I was also hoping for a few copies of Aino and Sucrose.
I got my first Flins with 394 pulls left, took me 81 pulls, but at least I won the 50/50. Lost the next 50/50 at 78 to Mona. 316 pulls left. Then got his C1 at 79 with 237 pulls left. One more to go >.<. Lost the next 50/50 at 78 to Tighnari ._. and finally got his C2... in the very next 10 pull! So super early, yay! I had 149 pulls left at this point. After trading in the Masterless Starglitter I was back to over 180. And I did get C6 Sucrose and Aino in the process. Mona is now C4 and Tighnari is C2.
I got a lot of late pulls unfortunately, but at least I won one 50/50 and he came home very early once. I think... I'll try to go for his weapon. I have a pity of 60 on the weapon banner, so worst case I'll need 100 pulls.
And... I got it at 66 pity, winning the 50/50 and only spending 6 pulls! I just couldn't bear to see that green PJWS on him, it doesn't fit at all >.<.
So in the end I started with 475 pulls and ended up getting his C2R1 with 180 pulls left thanks to the starglitter refund. That's 295 pulls spent, not too shabby! And I'll have enough pulls for whichever 5* will become Flins' BIS support character <3. And with those last two consecutive 50/50 losses I'm close to triggering the Capturing Radiance, so that's at least something.
I didn't pre-farm enough for Flins unfortunately, so it'll take me a bit to get him to his full potential. But he's already super fun to use! I've tried him out and I'm really happy with my investment.
The Imaginarium Theater reset. There's also something new to it which requires even more characters. It'll probably be ages before I can do that new Lunar Mode, lol. I barely have enough characters for Visionary Mode so far. Speaking of which, I actually have enough characters for it this time without leveling more up. But I'll attempt it another time, once I've build Flins up a bit more.
Zenless Zone Zero

(Event) Rhythm Rave - Fun little rhythm game. I loved the songs!
Wuthering Waves

(Endgame Mode) Whimpering Wastes - Same as last time, I completed it with Changli/Brant/Lupa and Xiangli Yao/Yinlin/Shorekeeper. But this time the buffs were a lot better and even though I messed up the rotations so badly by the last stage... I still did better than last time, getting an SSS score.
(Event) Beyond the Waves: Rinascita - Just the usual daily energy usage event.
Infinity Nikki

1.10 is here. Somehow I almost always look forward to Infinity Nikki updates the most, because every update brings so many new outfits, I love it.
The new 5* banner is very unique and I love the flower/witch and flower/fairy theme and now that I've got to check it out ingame I just had to pull for it. I've completed the 5* outfit Rainfall & Blossoms in 164 pulls (maximum would have been 200 since it has 10 pieces, so getting it in 164 pulls is pretty good.)

Just one of the outfits I created with the new pieces.
I've also glowed up Rainfall & Blossoms right away for that beautiful blue recolor.
(Endgame Mode) Mira Crown - I actually couldn't complete the 5th stage because I didn't have a glowed up Sweet/Royal outfit. And the only one I have is Meadow Symphony, so the 3* home ability outfit. I had just enough resources to glow it up, too (I don't usually spent resources to glow up 3* outfits as long as I have 5* and 4* outfits left to glow up). Is there even another option to this outfit...? Well, at least it is a free one, so no reason to complain.
Stage 7 needs a completely glowed up Cool/Playful outfit. Luckily I had already leveled up some pieces of Shark Mirage, so with using some energy I could get the remaining resources to glow it up.
I think I've gotten too comfortable with Mira Crown these past resets, I used to wait for the Mira Crown reset before glowing up outfits, but recently I've just been glowing up random stuff whenever I had the resources. From now on I'll try and wait for the Mira Crown resets again >.<.

The next character I'm most likely pulling for is Vivian in ZZZ. Honestly, I forgot about her for a while and just realized again that I'd actually wanted her when I read up about the upcoming patch. With the pulls I have saved up I shouldn't have a problem getting her with her W-Engine.
Daily Breakdown
Monday - Did the available weekly and end game mode resets in all gacha games. I was also busy creating new outfits in Nikki with the new clothing pieces.
Tuesday - Started doing some Nod-Krai world quests in Genshin (I ended up doing two, lol and one was just a quick 2 minute quest), also did a little bit of exploration again.
Wednesday - Did the newest Mira Crown in Nikki.
Thursday - Finally had time to start the latest Trailblaze Mission in Star Rail! It shouldn't have taken me a week to get to this T-T.

Plan for the next week
Wuthering Waves 2.7 releases next week. I also still have almost all of the new stuff in Nikki left and the events in Star Rail.
