Fallout: New Vegas

Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas. It's the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead...and that's before things really get ugly. It's a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It's a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way. As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you'll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare "winner takes all" and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3. Enjoy your stay.

It's been a minute since I've played New Vegas, from what I remember I loved it. It managed to just suck me in, I had fun playing for hours on end just exploring the wasteland. And I was planning on playing it this month anyway so I'll be joining along. I'll make one suggestion for anyone playing to at least try out the VATS system, on my first playthrough I didn't use it at all (mostly because I completely forgot about it), and with the mediocre gunplay it made the combat pretty miserable. The combat was designed a lot around VATS so make good use of it, unless that's just not your play style which is perfectly fine.
The best part about New Vegas for me and a lot of people is all of the different factions, story lines, and endings. The gameplay quality certainly isn't the best. But it's been a while since I played it so I won't say too much till I dive in. That's all I'll say about it for now, y'all have fun!

Hey cool, my nomination won!
I've started playing Fallout: New Vegas already in March and am now 32h in (on level 25 now). It's the last single player Fallout game that I haven't yet beaten (beaten: Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, 4, 3, in that order), although I completed 1, 2, and Tactics as a teenager and with cheats. So maybe these completions don't really count.
I tried New Vegas once before and put 10ish hours into it before retiring the game. And one the reasons I retired it was its constant crashing. The game crashed like ever 30 - 45 minutes and the funny thing is that I haven't had a single crash now on my second time playing in over 30 hours. What changed? I play the Ultimate Edition now (instead of normal), on Gog (instead of Steam) and on Windows (instead of Linux). If I had to guess I would say it's mostly the last point that's making such a difference but I'm just guessing. Haven't looked into it.
What can I say so far about New Vegas: I love it, the quests are phenomenal and it's so atmospheric to wander the desert. I think this is going to end up being my favorite Fallout game. I mean I loved clearing out building in F4 and there are a lot of cool aspects about any of Fallout games but the atmosphere and quality of the quests is highest in New Vegas in my opinion.
Things I do not like so far:
- Mountains being used as insurmountable terrain to prevent you from going places (personal pet peeve),
- sometimes I just want to shoot at people. In F4 it's so easy to just find a fight basically at any point but in New Vegas I often walk around for a while without finding a good group of enemies.
I took Boone as a compagnion and he is a one man army indead. He is extremely helpful, makes me wonder if I entered some kind of easy mode by choosing him. He often picks up enemies way before I see them and helps clearing large enemy groups. When I took him as a compagnion I was worried that he would get stuck every so often and be a huge pain in the ass but I was pleasantly surprised: hasn't even happened once yet.
I have so far avoided the main quest whenever I could - as one does :) - and haven't yet entered New Vegas. Though I will soon as it's getting a bit harder to just randomly run into side quests. I haven't yet entered any of the DLC areas either.
Looking forward to playing more and discussing the game with you guys.
edit: the automatic thingy that gets added under the posts here shows my stats for the normal version. I'm now playing the Ultimate edition instead.

Doubt I will be playing this one. I'm not big on WRPGs or games that try to have massive worlds with lots of choices on top of me finding post apocalyptic settings super mind numbingly boring. I watched the Fallout TV show and I got so bored that I couldn't even make it to the end.
I also am not big on Obsidian. KOTOR 2 was overhyped and I found it disappointing and the restored content mod did little to win me over. The fact that a game needs a fan made mod to make people see on why it's "great" is ridiculous to me. The game was also buggy with the mod installed.
Alpha Protocal was okay and I did kind of like the writing but the gameplay borderline enters into the realm of so bad it's good. If it weren't for the writing and choices it would have a following for the same reason why that Arc System Works Fist of the North Star games in that it's so broken that finding ways to break it becomes the game itself.
I was just never really a believer in the whole idea of, "good writing and story can carry sub standard gameplay". Silent Hill gets considered this but with 1 and 3, I strongly disagree with that. SH1 has solid gameplay that isn't a means to an end.
I also wonder how do you specifically give articulate thoughts on RPGs. Go indepth on story and you risk spoiling(I have done this sure but games with story that got my attention they are 20-30% of my game write ups) and the bulk of your review might as well not be on the gameplay itself. Talk about gameplay but most don't come to the genre for that and they will tolerate it as long as it's not awful or unplayable. Stuff like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Mario, Doom, Resident Evil and to some degree God of War are about the gameplay experience first so I can just talk about that and most come to those games for that with RE sort of being the exception since most come for the "scares" rather than the actual core gameplay which is a different topic.
Even the aforementioned Silent Hill is a game primarily spent playing. I haven't reviewed or actively devled into RPGs and outside of their lengths, this is another reason why I haven't actively played them.

Oh boy what a game to win game of the month, New Vegas is another one of my all time favorites. In my opinion it's the best Fallout campaign and has the best factions. I would love to replay it again this month but I doubt I'll have time for that. The modern Fallout games are the kind of games I have to sit down and play when I really have time for them, I can't just play an hour or two a day I need to sink my teeth into the world for hours if I do since that's when I'm the most immersed.
If you play on PC you've probably heard at this point that the game sort of requires mods to run properly. I'm not familiar with the console versions but on PC the game often crashes, stutters and can be pretty buggy. From my experience I was lucky and didn't really have to worry about it much, but in case you don't get so lucky. If you don't like using mods too much for a first playthrough, you can just use basic crash fix mods and such without the QOL mods.
FNV 4GB, NVSE, NVAC - New Vegas Anti-Crash, New Vegas Stutter Remover, CASM with MCM, and MCM are pretty essential stability mods.
https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/index.html - I recommend this modpack if you want to restore cut content and add some slight improvements to the game on top of stability mods.
Anyways I hope you all enjoy this month's game as well, the open world can feel a bit barren tbh but man the quests and storylines can be so much fun that you'll still get excited.

I'm guessing console is probably the best way to play, stability mods are almost a requirement for the PC version. Even getting some stability and QOL mods working was a complete nightmare for me, and I have decent modding experience. Though tbf I'm running some extra texture upgrade and graphics mods and whatnot, so just the essential stability mods should be a lot easier. Good luck for everyone trying to figure that out lol. I've heard that ^ Viva New Vegas site is a great tool, be sure to use that instead of making your own mod list like I tried to do.

So had my first sessions today:
Basically just did the tutorial around goodsprings.
Currently feels a slow shooter. I feel relatively weak and the weapons I have deteriorate so have to see how that comes out later. Not very good aim as well. I suspect this will all change the higher my level gets but for now not much really to say will have to see how the game turns out later

This is pretty much why I don't play games on PC anymore unless if it's emulation or the occasional indie game that isn't on console. If you aren't playing a remastered version of an old game on PC, then have fun troubleshooting for hours to get the game to work. My patience for that is pretty much dead. Want to play Crysis Warhead? Need to have Gamespy Anti Cheat. Some games like Deus Ex Invisible War crash a lot even when patched. I'm a console gamer at heart because of all this, mods are cool but that's only if you have the tolerance for the barrier for entry.
GOG is nice, I suppose but them delisting The Suffering and Ties that Bind really rubbed me off the wrong way, they were supposed to be the champions of old games preservation and they do this especially playing it legally. Sony, Microsoft, Valve and Nintendo doing this? Sure, but those guys never promoted themselves as the champions. That and GOG Galaxy is worse than the Steam interface.
This game also seems to be one of those 7th gen multiplats that is biased towards Xbox consoles.
Weird rant but it's reasons like this why me and PC gaming aren't really friends.

Out of the three Fallout games I’ve played (the others being 3 and 4) New Vegas is the only one I never finished. That’s said I was enjoying the game, I just wasn’t able to beat it before going off to college in 2015 and leaving my ps3 at home. I did try and return to my play through a few years ago but quickly realized I couldn’t remember anything going on and would have to restart. I haven’t gotten around to that yet but I definitely want to at some point, but it won’t be this month unfortunately.
Even though my memory of the game is fuzzy I do remember the ghouls going to space quest and also the Elvis group. I remember some of the main story too once I made it to New Vegas too, but not much and I didn’t progress much further than that 😅. I remember I did like how you could aim down your sights on your gun unlike Fallout 3. I think my main follower I had was a girl from the Brotherhood of Steel too, can’t remember if that’s a minor spoiler or not.

Reached the bishon hotel in primm. Fighting my way through the convicts atm

Finished in the primm bishon hotel and rescued the deputy. Made the robot the sheriff of the town in the end
So slowing getting into the game. It's not the most intense firefights and relies heavily on it's RPG systems. The world seems to have alot of moving factions with there own set of agendas and trying to work out which is best outcome for each side quest. For now I say strong on the RPGF side not so much on the shooting

Not much to add today. Moved on from Nipton and reached the Legion's raid camp not sure if i should do the booted side quest or not. Had issues where I couldn't load the game without it getting stuck ultimately had to start a new game and then reload from there

Reached Novaj and now trying to find out who sold Boones wife to slavers. Also found an interesting background story in a burnt out farm house persons parents had turned into ghouls and left there child (adult?) to fend for himself but he slowly went mad himself and burned down his farmhouse leaving behind only malnorished farm animals
10/05/2025 23:10
Found the seller it was the hotel manager. Got her head shot off by Boone who no is following me. Reached the rocket factory filled with the ghouls and nightkin and have convinced the nightkin to leave as there is no stealth boys

Completed the come fly with me quest. Helped the ghouls leave on there quest and told chris to move to novac. Seems he's settling in nicely at least. Seems a companion EDE was old enclave tech. Need to find more details
So I'm enjoying the RPG and the story elements of the game. The shotting and weight limits not so much. I'll see how I feel later but the game sets itself up is more survival shooter and the building aspect of the game feel bare and difficult to manoeuvre for me. I am enjoying myself overal but there are issues with the game as it crashes.
Not much to add today. Moved on from Nipton and reached the Legion's raid camp not sure if i should do the booted side quest or not. Had issues where I couldn't load the game without it getting stuck ultimately had to start a new game and then reload from there
09/05/2025 23:02
Reached Novaj and now trying to find out who sold Boones wife to slavers. Also found an interesting background story in a burnt out farm house persons parents had turned into ghouls and left there child (adult?) to fend for himself but he slowly went mad himself and burned down his farmhouse leaving behind only malnorished farm animals

I managed to finish the game a lot quicker than I anticipated. The last parts of the game aren't quite as magical as exploring the Mojave in the beginning of the game, but the all the end game stuff is still incredible. I tried to play the DLCs, in fact I played through Honest Hearts and had an okay time with it. But then I got to Old World Blues, got about an hour into it, I hated it and loaded to a save before I started and decided to not touch any of the other DLCs. I know the DLCs are popular but I really don't see any appeal to them. I managed to make a really fun one-handed weapon crit build with the perks, it felt like every other shot was a critical hit which did 150% extra damage, on top of a very high luck attribute which was really silly.
I ended up doing the NCR route since I like them better than any of the other options, and I had a ton of fun visiting all the factions either making peace with them or wreaking havok. I got my speech skill to 100 relatively early on, as well as barter/medical/science all up to at least 70 so I was able to talk my way through most interactions which was fun. I would have a ton of fun replaying this just to try out a different build, and to go for a different ending. The cooking/crafting mechanics are interesting, but I never found them useful at all. I'm sure I would have if I put more skill points into survival though, maybe I'll try it out in another playthrough someday.

Playing the Ultimate edition with all DLCs, I'm about 10 hours in, and enjoying it so far.
Main gripe is I feel the DLC Gun Runners ruins the pacing. It just gifts a bunch of mid-game items straight into your starting inventory. Feels like I'm cheating TBH, and I am not disciplined enough to not use said items when in a pinch.
I remember scrimping and scrounging for every scrap at the start of every previous Fallout game, and this just defeated the early game experince. Also it's kind of spoilery seeing early-game merchants selling upgrades for thousands of caps that are clearly meant for the late game.

I personally just dumped all that freely given DLC content at the start of the game in a safe location, it felt a little too cheaty for me as well. Starting almost from nothing is one of the best parts of the game. Can't blame people for using them though since there's some neat content in there. I just wish they weren't spawned into the player's inventory right out of Doc Mitchell's house.

I've just finished my first DLC in Fallout New Vegas, the Old World Blues DLC, in 11h33m and I enjoyed it a great deal!
I tried to do everything but I can see, thanks to the in-game achievements, that I didn't visit all locations. Also there's this one quest with an "optional" part to it. So how is that "optional" part optional if the quest just stays there indefinitely if you don't do it?
I entered the area on level 29, so just 1 level below the base game cap, and exited it on level 38.
What I liked:
- the story with the scientists and their quirks is pretty good.
- challenging area.
- your hub.
What I didn't like:
- while I hadn't had a single crash of the base game, the DLC had started at some point to crash to desktop on every second or third fast travel. I had 13 crashes if I counted properly. I hope this behaviour stays with the DLC and does not affect my further playthrough of New Vegas. Would be a pain in the ass to complete the game with either crashing all the time or not using fast travel.
- the robo scorpions are massive bullet sponges. I put thousands of bullets into these guys. Until I realized which weapon works best against these guys but even then you need to hit every single one - what - like 10 times?!.
- the DLC landscape is pretty ugly.
Now 45h12m into New Vegas, including this first DLC.

Oh I haven't looked through the forums in a while but I think it's really cool that F:NV is game of the month right now! I actually started a playthrough just a month ago though I haven't gotten very far. I made it to Freeside and I've been humming around doing different quests though I have enough caps to get into The Strip if I want. I almost certainly won't finish before the month is over but I'm glad I'm finally getting around to playing it!

Took nelson for NCR. Got to Sloan and turned back after told about deathclaws. Went into Helios one and dealing with the solar panels. Got to the top of the tower but didn't hit up the mainframe
23/05/2025 23:14
So did the Helios One quest and then went back dealt with the NCR penatratory area ended up siding with the NCR. Reached boulder city and found out about benny from Jessup and was able to end the showdown amicably. Just met Cass prob will swap for her over Boone.
It also took me to today to realise that if I pick up a duplicate weapon I can use that to fix the weapon already on hand

I have just finished my second Fallout New Vegas DLC "Dead Money" in 8h12m.
I had a good time with it but enjoyed it less than Old World Blues. Though credit where credit is due: The developers created an experience that is very different than the base game. It is a completely linear DLC - I didn't use fast travel once, not sure even if it's possible within Dead Money, it is a bit of a horror setting with the poison clouds and the ghost people, there are (plenty of) traps, you make use of a whole team of companions, there's plenty of sneaking sections and sections in which you have to run to reach a safe spot and/or solve a puzzle while avoiding indestructable enemies. I appreciate that Obsidian gave the players something new with this DLC.
However, what I enjoy about Fallout games is the freedom to do what I want and when I want it and just go exploring (for example I have almost completely maxed out my character, both in terms of level cap and skills, and have yet ignored the main quest). This DLC forces you to go straight from A to B to C to D ... till its very end. No side quests, no locations to explore except the ones you are told to go to.. That's why this DLC in spite of its strong story and companions was only "okay" for me.
Random side note: I had once over 70 save in New Vegas. No reason why really it's just quicker to create a new save than overwrite an existing one. Then Gog told me it can no longer sync the game because I had reached the size limit (200 MB). So I deleted a few saves (right clicking deletes entries) and am now overwriting old saves instead. I was good for a long while on something like ~60 entries. But I assume this DLC makes the save files much bigger because I had to delete more and more of them until I'm now at like ~35.
I loved God.
I entered the DLC on level 39 and left it on level 46. I'm now 53h24m into New Vegas.

Reached REPCONN headquarters and got a nifty gun
27/05/2025 22:05
So reached Valut 34. Ran threw it and shut off the reactor
28/05/2025 22:14
Bit of a wander day. Reached the refugee camp. Did the quest for the alcoholic Father and the captain did excessive force on the card scammer. Now reached the NCR camp and now looking into the information leaks. Was able to interrogate silus. I convinced him I was legion and he told me there is an insider at the camp
29/05/2025 21:01
Found the legion spy and prevented the bomb from blowing up the tram. Also turned on the sgt on the shack for selling NCR weapons. Now picking up fiends bounty
30/05/2025 23:09
Took down two of the bounties. Convinced the female officer at the camp to go to therapy. Just need to tell the doctor. Atm in the middle of Vault 3 convinced the fiends to let me in but gonna get the ranger patched up. My companion wants to go back to the brotherhood prob do that next
31/05/2025 23:28
So convinced the ranger to leave the bunker and leave motor runner to me. Seems hes connected to a quest so will leave him for now. Went with veronica to the hidden valley for the brotherhood of steel. I actually already went into that bunker and lockpicked the door to finding nothing behind it so I guess we need to make sure that I had the quest to go in beforehand. Got the two quests to get through the brotherhood quest and will try and parts of them. One of the places is up to an area of the map I haven't reached. Looks like thjeres issue brewing in the brotherhood with it's hiding lockdown and ther tensions are rising
Okay so The last day of May so end of the GotM for Fallout: New Vegas. I haven't completed heck haven't even reached new vegas (got to it's outskirts at least). Overall the world is a bit barrenm (it is a wasteland afterall), the gam ecrahses and I still hate weight based inventoryies but overall this is a very sucessful and well written RPG which I am throughly enjoying it. It does actively push in direction it wants to by marking locations on the map when they are mentioned to give a reason to go there so you can build up an idea of the area. I'm going continue to play this outside of GotM hopefully finish it but so far well worth a play

And there it is: I've reached max level 50 after about 60h in the game and I've also maxed out every skill except melee, unarmed and survival.
Survival isn't maxed out because I didn't feel much like crafting in New Vegas. It just doesn't seem necessary. Also I do not want to carry crafting items with me. 95 % of my inventory needs to be filled with weapons, obviously.
Melee is not among the skills I maxed out because I prefer ranged weapons.
Unarmed ... seriously? In a game with dozens (hundreds?) of awesome weapons who would choose to fight with ... their fists? I bet if there were in-game statistics for this that unarmed would be over all players the least often maxed out skill of them all. Did anyone here upgrade unarmed to 100?
I had read online that you can even max out every single skill before level 30, the max level without the DLC, if you are smart about it. The fact that I didn't even manage to do so with 20 more levels probably means I wasn't too smart about leveling up. :)
I'm currently in the DLC Lonesome Road. Might still go for the remaining DLC afterwards, haven't decided yet. So not yet time to do the main quest. :)

I've finished the Lonesome Road DLC in 5h46m.
It was a really good time - I'd say second best DLC of the 3 I beat so far. This DLC feels like an endgame gift. You get 10x the ammunition you'd need to kill the whole Mojave desert 10x over, a variety of tough enemy types (I killed more Deathclaws here than in the whole base game) and also story-wise this is something you should play last before finishing the base game. Definite recommendation from me - if nothing else you finally get to use all the weapons/equipment you were always saving up for last.
I liked the architecture and landscape (finally a DLC that's not pure ugly), the difficulty, the combat and the story.
I didn't like that the story was sometimes told a bit "cryptic" for lack of a better word.
Could kick myself in the ass for not finding all warheads in one go, I got 28/30. I'm not sure if I want to enter the DLC area again to find the rest.
Btw. I decided to cancel the missile start, didn't want nuclear armaggedon for neither NCR nor Legion.
Still undecided if I want to go for the remaining 2 DLC or just call it a day and beat the game finally. I'm now 62h40m into New Vegas and as written before maxed out - so no more experience points.

Oh didn't post my update from yesterday
Reached the top of black mountain and fixed Tabithas robot. They left afterwards. Released the ghoul in the prison
02/06/2025 22:04
Not much from me today just a wander. Picked up raul as a companion though
03/06/2025 23:17
Finished the bounties from camp mccarren and then reached the great khan camp. Doing the drug smuggler quest now
04/06/2025 22:06
Completed the drug runs and started the caravan quest. Convinced cass to give up her caravan and come with me
05/06/2025 23:21
Found cass's old caravan. Seems that energy weapons having been attacking caravans and gonna investigate another. After that I went west and reached bitter springs and got the quests from there. Now at camp gaurdian gonna try and deal with the Lakelurkers
06/06/2025 23:06
KIlled the lakelurkers under camp gaurdian but the private died on the onslaught. Reached camp golf and convinced to misfits to work together
07/06/2025 23:06
Well busy busy day.
Went back to bitter springs and convinced the khan to go to red rock instead of keeping hold of his vendetta. After this i moved to free side and gave EDE to the followers of the apocalypse. After this went to boomer town and dealing with a few quests there. Got the pulse gun now so likely go to the hidden bunker for veronicas quest
08/08/2025 22:47
Basically continued the brotherhood quest. Veronica decided to stay with the brotherhood. The brotherhood has led me to vault 11 and I have to say while I already know the story for this valut I have to admit it does a great job of building the story out to you. It sets out a mystery of the four corpses at the front and why they committed suicide and then slowly trickles information about the overseer vote and how it is unwanted by those who receive it. Looking forward to reaching the end

I've just beaten Fallout New Vegas in 67h47m after a surprisingly tough battle at Hoover Dam that I fought on the side of the NCR. I used something like 30 normal stimpacks and maybe 10 super stimpacks plus an unknown amount of auto-inject stimpacks of both versions. How do you do this if you're not max leveled and carrying 315lbs?.
Finally I've beaten the last single player Fallout and now I can confidently say that this is my favorite Fallout and overall a great RPG. It has the best quests of all games in the series. I also like that it properly feels like a wasteland and you're just a wanderer in there.
I was lucky to experience virtually no technical issues. I think the base game only ever crashed once to desktop (in Old World Blues I had over 10 crashes while fast traveling but luckily this issue stayed in the DLC). 1 quest bugged out. I was a bit stressed out about it because it was an important one (in the sense that I knew its outcome would be mentioned in the outro): Oh my papa. But the internet came to the rescue as there was a workaround.
I somewhat tried to do virtually everything, every DLC, every quest, that I stumbled about but I didn't make it my goal to 100% anything. I only did 3 out of the 5 DLC because one of them requires you to carry very little weight before entering and how about no, absolutely not, I'm not going to sell 200lbs of inventory and i don't think Gun Runners has actual quests?
The game aged well. The only quality of life features I really missed was that when buying or selling inventory items you just have an alphabetically sorted list, no custom sorting or filtering whatsoever. The weight based inventory also had me stressed out and in the end I almost exclusively carried weapons because i couldn't let go of any. Oh and how ridiculous is it that I lose karma when looting from people that are criminals or whom I'm currently genocide-ing?
I'm happy I finally got around to play this gem and it was nice that it won GOTM and we got to discuss it here. What faction did you end up supporting?

So thats vault 11 done. Again real interesting story involved in that vault they had to sacrifice a person each year or so to keep the valut going. Top do this they create a democracy where the overseer was chosen and made a sacrifice. In the end due to corruption in voting parties a murderer was made overseer who changed the voting system to be done as a random pick. This caused a civil war which ended with just 5 people who ultimately decide not to make a sacrifice. The vault then congratulates them for not making a sacrifice and allows them to leave. Due to this 4 of the 5 survivors commit suicide at the door of the vault. Gone to freeside. WIll be off for the rest of the week so be back in fallout on Monday.

Well forgot to update on Monday so this'll be merge of both Monday and today. Started the quests around freeside. Started by helping the laser owners pass a package on and then got the debt sorted for the tavern. Helped the followers deal with the missing people and convinced them to return with high speech. Moved onto the quest for the kings found out that the ncr had been attacking people but then the same was happening to the ncr seems someone was trying to force a conflict. Think it was pacer.. I have now reached the strip. Got through by overriding the machines protecting it and now gone to met mr. house. Looks like i'm off to deal with the person who shot me

Wandered the strip and met benny. Benny offered me to work for him told him to scram while I think on it. The little shit sent his bodygaurds. Chased him to his suite and met and talked to the yes man. Not sure which way I'll be going for the ending

Not really much finished wondering the strip and picked up more quests. After that decided to do the area I haven't been too (the north west part of the map) and spent most of the time wandering the sewers. Just in westside now

Finished up westside. Went to the sunset bottle factory and shut off the cap press. Now in Vault 22

So finished up Vault 22. Helped the ghoul destroy the spores and convinced her that the research should be kept as failure is an important knowledge to prevent the same mistake happening. After that went and completed the Return to Sender quest talked to harloc and heard why he's doing the fake communication. He feels that it's a mistake staying in Mojave and need to leave so falsifying the information may get the NCR out of the region. I felt that was naïve thinking and told him I will have to turn him in. He then committed suicide. I've now moved onto the Ceasar camp and received the platinum chip not sure if I should go into the bunker underneath the fort or not. I don't intend to work with the legion faction
