An absolute classic! The characters and stories are deeply charming, while the actual game mechanics (inventory, map movement, puzzle logic) leave a lot to be desired. Episode 5, added in the NDS port, is an all-time favorite of mine. Simple and sweet.

JFA improves on AA by boasting a more complex interweaving plot that culminates in a great finale, but the time it takes in getting there- less great. The weakest of the original trilogy and it isn't close.

Possibly the best Ace Attorney game ever made! While it runs on the same systems and logic as the previous 2, the story could not have been told in a more satisfying or engaging way, and the trials are perfectly paced and possible to do without a guide.

With series creator Takumi Shu exiting, the writing quality takes a noticeable dip, making AJ more sentimental and centered on one focal mystery than T&T or JFA ever were. The last case is brilliant though, and a certain twist had me nearly in tears!

Athena is one of the best protagonist characters in Ace Attorney and one of my favorite characters in the series, yet this game is quite disappointing. It's not bad, just somewhat exhausting- the "Dark Age of the Law" gets really tiring after a while.
