If you're talking only the next game then yeah that prevents all issues. I brought up Zelda as an example because I wasn't sure how much of a direct link you were thinking. If only very direct sequels then yeah just OoT to MM really. Maybe Windwaker to PHantom Hourglass I suppose. And the two Oracle games. But that's getting of main topic here.
But the daisy chain sounds easiest to manage on all fronts for sure.

Hello, sorry for repeating myself but can you please add a remote play storefront?
I think it will be a nice addition

What if it was a toggle that could expand/collapse? That would allow some of the more expansive ones (Like Zelda given that almost all games are canon) to list what's part of the universe without taking up a bunch of page space automatically. It could even allow games to be listed in their canon order.
I like the idea, so that's just something that happen to cross my mind. I usually look up games that are part of a series just to see what the first one is so I can try and start there or at least go back and get caught up. Would be really cool to see the game page have this information.
Edit: Quick thought, could even have that toggle exist on the side panel under the picture so it expands that instead of the whole page.

Honestly I like the idea but I just want it to show all the games in the series in release order.

What are you remote playing from? Steam? Luna? That Google one? Xbox?

The Remote Play option from steam, technically the storefront is steam, but I don't really own the game on my library

10 Yrs♥✓#
Remote Play doesn't make it any clearer that you don't own it, does it? And if you think the storefront signifies that you own the game, but you don't own it, then why not leave it empty?

I don't want to leave it empty because I don't want to be any untagged storefront in my completition list and since there is a borrowed option for physical games, I think a "borrowed" option for digital games makes sense

Thinking of it, what do you think about adding a streaming services group under the storefront tab including PS Now, GeForce Now, Stadia, Amazon Luna, xCloud, Steam Remote Play...?

I think thats a great idea! 😃

10 Yrs♥✓#
Well, for one, PS Now has downloadable games, and for another xCloud is Xbox Game Pass (again, downloadable games). In fact, Steam Remote Play is also Steam, which again: downloadable games.
But I do hope Everdred has an idea to resolve this one tiny gray area or can clarify his intentions for the storefronts otherwise because it does pique my curiosity.

I'm trying to figure it out myself. I'm not going to add another category for Streaming at this point. Most of those are already in Subscription.
Storefronts is meant to be a list of places you own and can launch games. Basically, a way to keep track of where your games are. I don't want it to be overly complicated and we basically already have 99% of storefronts that people use. Everything else is a rare use case.
I'm all for adding a catch-all for some of this stuff but it's figuring out the right one. I don't want to have to go back and update a bunch of them in the database, even if it's a simple query update.

- Activity feed will now display time played when updating progress on a playthrough
I just noticed this, I like it!

How about adding a storefront for Big Fish Games? they have there own launcher as well. I don't personally have any use of the storefront right now but I was thinking about buying Diamond Drop 2 recently so I could have a need for it in the near future.

Also I noticed a slight inconsistency.
the recent completion section in your profile correctly shows your most recently completed games. But than the recently completed tab that appears when you click on your profile pic in the top right shows the most recently updated game from your completed list rather than your most recently completed games. For example, in my profile, it correctly displays that my second most recently completed game was Super Mario Galaxy 2, but in the list shown when pressing the profile pic, it says that my 2016 playthrough of Tomb Raider (2013) is my second most recently completed game even though I completed it 5 years ago.
I took a couple of screenshots but I couldn't figure out how to post it here.

Since I couldn't provide screenshots you can test it by making a slight change in the game details of a game you beat a while back and than clicking your profile pic and reading the recently completed games list.

14 Yrs♥F✓#
That list is showing your Completed games in order of updated last. You just recently updated Tomb Raider (2013), which is why it's shown in that order..

We're just workshopping the idea.
I agree it's not really a storefront but I like the thought of forcing the user to mention the native platform and allowing them to still mark as emulated.
This was posted a few days ago so I don't know if a consensus was already come to, but I very much like this idea.
When looking at time averages for a game I have not played yet (or even a game I have played for that matter), emulated doesn't really give enough information about what platform the times were for. And anyway for all intents and purposes it is the same game as the original platform.

Apologies if that has already been addressed in the past but it would really be great if it were possible to have seperate completion dates for Main Story and for 100% Complete. Right now all my dates are for when I beat the game but most of the time I will only 100% it several days or weeks later (if not even longer)

Yes, that's right, and that's where the inconsistency is. The name of that list is "Recent Completions". Wouldn't it make more sense to be named "Recently Updated Completions" Or just give it the same function as the other list?

10 Yrs♥✓#
That certainly seems to be the case.

Looks like anything with a + in the image name.
There are 46 games. I will fix them.
