Amazing game. If you love Breath of the Wild then, oh boy, are you in for a treat. Especially those who know a thing or two about Greek mythology.

The game takes *heavy* inspiration from Breath of the Wild's formula: a tutorial area leading to four main quests that can be tackled in any order, each leading to a dungeon, which - after that - leads to a final dungeon and big-boss-bad-guy.

There are tons of cool enemies and awesome equipment to find all over the map. You'll come across a boss roaming around and read their name and to "Oh, its that guy!" Combat is relatively easy to pick up, and, like BotW, you have stamina and health bars that you can upgrade.

Mini puzzle-dungeons in the form of Vaults can be found all over the map, providing resources to upgrade your stamina, and resources to upgrade your health are in the form of collectibles also scattered across the map. Overworld puzzles give you currency that can be exchanged to upgrade your abilities - or gain new ones. If you LOVE puzzles, this game is for you. You can also turn down the difficulty of the combat if you want to solely focus on the puzzle-solving elements.

The game has a light-hearted fun tone with a bright, vibrant artstyle, and humour that's actually spot-on. The jokes actually land and are funny. Not just the occasional exhale, but actually got chuckles from me. Everyone has a slightly exaggerated Greek accent which only amplifies the mood.

This game was pretty charming. I really enjoyed the open world aspect which was similiar to Breath of the Wild. I found the puzzles to be engaging most of the time. The vaults usually had different types of gameplay, and it didn't feel stale.
Really liked the characters are the story. Greek mythology is interesting to me, and seeing and learning about these characters was fun.
Combat was fluid and fun to control. Flying was relaxing.
Towards the end I got a little burnt out of the game. I recommend that you should focus mostly on the main story, and do side objectives when they fall into your path. Because this game can get repetitive and I would have probably enjoyed it more if I just did the main stuff.
Otherwise it was a fun exploration game to shut off your brain.

My favorite game of all time. The combat is fast and engaging while still being difficult end game. The dungeons in this game are a nice variety of combat, puzzles, and parkour. The main bosses, and side bosses are all fantastically designed. The customization option visually for gear is amazing, and the different buffs from the weapons and armor keep the game fresh if you get bored of what you have already been doing. The story is mostly played as a comedy, but there are times where the tones gets a bit more serious, especially with the side quests relating to Daedalus.

Loved it. Puzzles were a bit repetitive. The use of the remote arrow was a bit too frequent and sometimes a bit too challenging for my taste. But overall, great game! The combat was nice. The upgrades were nicely implemented - I liked the skill tree. I really recommend this game.

Story:
The game is based in Greek Mythology, and there is narration that occurs at key moments from Zeus and Prometheus, their exchanges providing most of the dialogue for the game. It's fun to hear all of the gods interacting with each-other, it's kind of like watching reality TV to an extent, and the gods themselves are all decently fleshed out, especially in their relationships with Zeus, as the entire game is like a therapy session for him. The ending twist kind of confuses a main theme of the narrative, but the game all in all has a fun, engaging story.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is divided between open world exploration, combat, and the puzzles in myth challenges and Vaults of Tartarus. The exploration is the weakest aspect in the game, there are hundreds of points of interest on the map while scouting is a neat mechanic to discover stuff, I would've still liked to get a map or something in the endgame so I could grab anything I might've missed. The game world is pretty diverse and fun to explore - with the exception of King's Peak, which is far too linear for this game, only having one path up, and making picking up any missed collectables a chore. Additionally, some collectables felt useless after a while, since chests only provided materials I didn't need and cosmetics I don't want. The combat is fairly standard, you're able to use light attacks, heavy attacks, a bow, and your different godly powers to fight, gear is varied in use and can actually create distinct playstyles, and the process of upgrading at the Hall of Gods was surprisingly enjoyable. Like Breath of the Wild, there are only a handful of enemy types that appear at different levels, and each enemy only has a few attacks, so after a while it could feel a little bland. The puzzles were generally well done, only a few left me annoyed with the solution, and I absolutely loved how you are allowed and encouraged to use your godly powers to cheese some of them, it was very satisfying and it made the vaults always feel fresh.

Difficulty:
I played the game on hard. Asides from a small spike in difficulty - which was caused by me insisting on hoarding upgrade materials so I could dump them all at once - much of the game was easy.

Graphics:
The graphics go for style over realism, which makes them age much better, and it's easy to tell things apart, each region is pretty environmentally diverse, and I enjoy being able to see the whole map from different perch points. The game's not stunning, but it looks pretty good.

Performance:
I played it on a laptop and got occasional frame drops (might be from a memory leak since they took some time to get), but asides from that I was able to play it at/near the maximum graphical settings with no real issue. No crashing or glitches either. Although, the game checking for DLC for several minutes every time I launched it was annoying, as was having to deal with the dreaded Ubisoft Connect Launcher.

Replayability:
Once you max out any type of upgrade, (armour, abilities, health, etc.) you get access to mastery levels, which actually have a decent amount of impact when compared to games that have similar features. The presence of mastery levels, as well as a NG+ where you start with all of your equipment and upgrades, make the replayability of the game fairly high, although I have a long backlog, so I am unlikely to do so myself.

This game is probably one of the last fully good games that Ubisoft put out, it's a shame it didn't really get any marketing or attention. It took heavy inspiration from Breath of The Wild, and it's setting can be pretty easily compared to the God of War games. These similarities don't harm the game that much, though, and I still found it enjoyable to play throughout it's runtime.

Immortals Fenyx Rising invites immediate comparison to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The similarities are hard to miss: stamina-based climbing and gliding, puzzle-focused vaults reminiscent of shrines, and a set of magical abilities that let you manipulate objects in the world. There's even a dark mysterious area right in the middle of the world map. While these elements are clearly inspired by BotW, Immortals doesn’t simply copy—it builds on the foundation in meaningful ways.

One of the biggest improvements is in combat. The game offers a deep and satisfying set of abilities, giving players the freedom to approach encounters creatively. Movement and traversal also feel more refined. Exploring the world is smooth and intuitive, with few frustrations related to controls or navigation.

Throughout most of my playthrough I was consistently engaged (although it did start to wear thin at the 40-hour mark for me. The game offers a well-balanced mix of exploration, combat, and puzzles that held my attention. Each region of the Golden Isle feels distinct, not only in visuals but also in gameplay mechanics. Different areas introduce new types of puzzles, enemy types, and ways of interacting with the environment. One memorable section involved scaling a massive mountain, which required a very different approach compared to other parts of the game.

The vaults are especially well-designed. They do a great job of introducing mechanics gradually and then expanding on them in increasingly complex ways. This thoughtful progression keeps puzzles fresh and rewarding.

That said, exploration in Immortals leans more toward marking objectives and following map icons, rather than encouraging organic discovery. In contrast to BotW, where exploration often feels like a personal journey driven by curiosity, Immortals tends to steer you toward pre-defined points of interest. While this keeps the pacing brisk and gives a clear sense of progress, it does take away some of the wonder that comes from stumbling upon something unexpected.

There are also issues with difficulty scaling. While regular enemies adjust to your level, bosses do not. After completing a large portion of the optional content, I found the final bosses surprisingly easy. It took some of the tension out of what should have been climactic moments.

Narratively, the game is based on Greek mythology but I failed to connect to its characters or story. The humor works occasionally, but for the most part, I found myself disconnected from the plot and its cast. The game seems to assume some familiarity with the myths, and as a result, doesn’t spend much time building emotional investment.

Despite these shortcomings, I came out liking, but not loving, Immortals Fenyx Rising. It’s a well-made game that delivers a fun and engaging experience from start to finish. While it doesn’t break new ground and may not leave a lasting impression, it accomplishes what it sets out to do—and does so with a high level of polish and care.

The usual Ubisoft open world formula but this time with a much shorter run time, good story and excellent Puzzle design. Though the story is good, the whole game is a parody, which sometimes was okay but sometime made me cringe and look for a skip button. Also we got the best Puzzle design in a game I've played for a while. the whole stylized graphical choice wasn't for me though. not something I like. what made this game hard to play for me was the having to deal with Ubisoft launcher and a bunch of crashes. I checked online for solutions which should have been fixed by now, and having to deal with that made me just try to finish the story and not bother with the DLCs. game feels like a 7/10 but the crashes and launcher made it a 6 for me.

Honestly not a bad BotW clone. The story is pretty good and the amount of stuff you can do/collect is pretty varied. The only downfall is that there was a real lack of variation when it came to enemies as there's only roughly 10 of the same enemy types around the world, excluding the bosses. Otherwise, if you like Greek mythology then you'll probably really get into this game.

Pretty good game, but nothing crazy, it resembles Breath of the Wild a lot with the climbing and the puzzles in the overworld and in a way it's like a simplified version of that game, however, it has its own identity to it. The overworld is filled with a bunch of puzzles scattered across the island which is pretty neat because the puzzles vary a lot. It can go from small picture puzzles where you have to connect the image to arranging a star constellation, there is a lot of variety to them and honestly, some of them will have you thinking for a good while.

There are enemies scattered across the land as well but I felt the combat can get quite repetitive since the enemies do not vary that much, depending on the area there are specific enemies to those areas but a lot of the times the hard enemies/mini-bosses were just variants of the regular strong enemies with a different skin on them which made them all feel almost the same to fight. Not only that but they re-use most enemies for the different areas and for the stronger variants of the common enemies. Regardless the combat is pretty fun because you have some god abilities that you can use in between combos that spruce things a little but ultimately you will be just repetitively be mashing the same button.

There are tons of things to collect in the world as well with all those things fulfilling some type of upgrade purpose, Whatever you collect is basically just for you to upgrade your equipment and abilities. The other part that resembles BotW is This games versions of Shrines that they call Vaults. When you approach a vault and enter, you will have to complete some type of puzzle or sometimes a combat challenge and these vaults vary in difficulty from Easy, Medium or Hard. There aren't as many as there are in BotW but honestly this is a good thing because they tend to take more time than their counterpart and there are already a lot of things you need to do in the overworld.

The Story is not the greatest, It gets better towards the end and on certain gods that you help out but overall it's pretty annoying and this is because of Zeus constant input to the Narration, Prometheus is a good Narrator however and I enjoyed when he would Narrate the story but everything else about it was not the best writing and overall was very forgettable, the voice acting sometimes did not help either. I had a problem as well with the Final Boss, You get to fight it the first time which was pretty fun, but after you beat it, the game makes you go through a Vault after playing a cutscene of the boss running away. It would have been much better if you were able to fight the boss straight away after phase 1, but instead, it forces you to do a bunch of puzzles before being able to fight him.

Overall The game was pretty ok, I wouldn't consider the game as a Must-play though and if you completely miss on playing this game then you will not be missing much honestly. It is a good time, you will have fun while you play since this game encourages exploration for you to go around and complete puzzles, vaults and Discover little secret encounters and things across the map and the theme of Ancient Greek Mythology is always fun, but overall its nothing out of the ordinary or crazy. If you're really craving something similar to BotW gameplay-wise but with a unique twist or just a vast open world with exploration then sure, pick the game up on sale since it goes for very cheap but besides that, nothing too crazy.

So this game is fun enough, but can be very annoying in some places. The flying is a bit terrible. Changing directions mid air sucks, because you have the same turning angle as a dump truck with 1 wheel. Also you don't immediately stop mid air bit continue flying a few meters forward when you release the forward key, this means that you can easily overshoot a platform or an air boost. The combat is alright. You got a parry, dodge and some skills, it does the job well enough, but it's nothing too flashy or fast like in Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. The writing and general humor of the game is hit or miss. Some jokes and dialogue were amusing (I liked the constantly horny Aphrodite), but sometimes I just wanted characters to shut up, especially Zeus. Graphics are pretty good and environments look pretty. Lots of customization with skins for weapons, armor, wings and your bird.
It's fun enough, as I played it for 20 hours, but I definitely did not want to collect everything in the overworld. I just side quests and collected stuff that was on the way to the main quests.

Immortals Fenyx Rising é uma aventura mitológica da Ubisoft que combina elementos de The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild com a aclamada franquia Assassin’s Creed. Vamos explorar os detalhes:

Pontos Positivos:

Falta de Originalidade: A inspiração em Zelda é evidente, o que pode não encantar tanto quem já jogou Breath of the Wild.

Jogos Semelhantes:

Duração do Jogo:
Extras: Aproximadamente 40 horas.
Completar Tudo: Mais de 60 horas.

Vale a Pena?
Sim!

When half the players express the need to specify that a game is not a rip off, you can make sure it is.

But actually, it's true that Immortals Fenyx Rising tries to be more than its inspiration : it's a Breath of the Wild rip off including all the exhausting Ubisoft open-world machinery. You can take it or leave it. It's not a bad game in itself, but it's not very fun and tends to be super-repetitive towards the end.

It's a sometimes a mindlessly fun game that you can use to kill some time, with a lot of tedious design. Think about it, and it's obvious that this is poor work into a low quality game. It's the 2020's, and that's right with the low standards of the modern gamer...most of which don't get a third of the way through games.

The combat is enjoyable (a more basic version of Odyssey's combat.) The enemy variety is ok, but tends to be reskinned/spongier versions of the base enemy types. They throw them at you in groups, and it keeps you on your feet. The parry window is generous here, and it's really good to get it down to use perfect parry combos that decimate larger enemies. I just generally enjoy the combat most in the game.

It's a Ubisoft game, so there will be the traditional dropped inputs that plague their modern games. It's really noticeable when you use Ares' Wrath (?) to jump over a wall, hit B to glide, and you plummet from a dropped input. By the time you hit it again, it's too late. I played with multiple controllers to make sure it wasn't just the one I used.

The puzzles are fun, and range from easy to enjoyable with a few stops at "you expected me to figure that out," and "I'm getting tired of looking for a rock to use as a weight." Get the ability that allows you to create a statue of yourself. It's a must have. The abilities are a lot of fun, and useful. They make a meaningful impact on your gameplay...which is something you see less and less of these days.

I applaud them for the races. I normally don't like timed races with a timer ticking constantly. They're all done with music in this game. The song changes as the timer ticks down. It doesn't stress me out as much as a timer. Kudos.

The vaults are fun, but can get tedious. They're about half of the game. It'll depend on how much you like them. Some can be very challenging in a good way, some in a frustrating way. The end game is annoying when after a boss battle stage, you get to do another 45 minute vault...into another lazy multi-stage boss fight. The creativity was on fire here lol. Then again, who cares? People don't actually play much of games anyways. This is one of the worst end games I've ever played.

I've got big issues with the world and movement. It's another Ubisoft McWorld. It's big, and fairly empty. I feel this is a tired trope that devs won't give up, otherwise they'd have to make more meaningful content in games. The big problem with this empty world is traversal. The stamina bar is a poor idea outside of combat. You make a huge world, fill it with nothing meaningful, and limit my ability to get across it faster. It just makes for more time spent walking, or collecting more resources to refill your stamina. Time where you turn your mind off, and zone out. That's what Ubisoft seems to make games for these days, as you go through another of their generic check list games.

Movement also suffers because Fenyx is too sticky. I get what they went for, but it fails in execution. All too often you'll get stuck on a wall that you didn't want to. It happens too often in combat, and when trying to just jump down a cliff. The game reuses so much from Odyssey that a closer look at the traversal may have lent better to this game. Ubisoft makes a lot of contextual movements which are very frustrating. The game will move the camera on you, and you'll do a lot of things you don't want to, especially when pushing things...which is half the game. Typical gaming today...looks neat, but removes player control.

The world is beautiful. That's par for the course these days, and not very important to a game. It is mostly reskinned assets from Odyssey with a cartoonish vibe. There's a lot of copy/pasting here as well.

The story is ok, depending on what you want. It's just there. Cringe at times, humorous at others. I don't think Ubi has written many good stories in a decade, so if you like their new game stories you'll like this.

Overall, it's still a fun play...if you get it for $15 or under. It's not really worth much more. It's derivative of Breath Of The Wild, mixed with Odyssey. It reuses the assets, and doesn't really have much originality. Fifteen dollars seems a fair output of cash to mirror the input of work and originality from Ubi.

It's a solid 8/10 game on nearly all fronts and it had enough charm to get me through.

One thing that struck me in particular was just how much I enjoyed scanning for my next location / item. The statues were there as a focal point but don't reveal everything on the map at once. Instead the game asks you to scan and find your next point of interest. How the developers fine tuned the "what you can locate" was fantastic. You couldn't find everything from the one location, with things being a combination of too far away or out of sight or.... honestly I don't know how they exactly differentiate it cause it felt so different all the time. It meant the game kept asking me to use the lens to explore from other high points to get find where to go next.

It may sound tedious but for me it's what kept me engaged with the hundreds of things to find and explore across the map. Instead of just going from point A to B, I spent the time to find those places which gave more meaning to the eventual trek.

Fun and quirky. I liked the bright colors and sense of humor. It was a fun mix of Assassin's Creed and Breath of the Wild. I'm tackling the DLC now.

BOTW clone, but the world actually felt like it wasn’t empty. Lot of stuff to do, but some rewards felt samey, like Coins of Charon. Luckily, excess rewards can be used for further minor stat upgrades. Enjoyed the different armor and weapon cosmetics, but there should have been more weapon effects, cause I had some trouble choosing one. The combat and gameplay is fluid enough, but nothing to write home about, good or bad. Requiring Uplay offering cosmetic microtransactions is scummy, but if you turn off internet connection you can play the tame just fine. The story felt rather conflicting. I enjoyed the personalities of Fenyx and the Gods, but I felt like if the game had a message, it was a bad message: embracing and accepting your flaws even if they are legitimately bad. Aphrodite and Hephaestus were actually better off transformed than if they were back to normal, but i suppose this game was more of a celebration of Greek mythology than anything. The game was also quite humorous at times, some pop culture references too which i didn't mind cause the game was cartoony. They did somewhat overuse sex metaphors and jokes though. Overall not a bad game, but the DLC is not worth it and i will likely not return to this game.
