Arkham Origins is a flawed, but great superhero game, as well as one my favorite games of all time. Sure, the Upgrades are too linear and the world itself is too plain & flat colored (Arkham City did these better) but almost everything is solid. Roger Craig Smith did an excellent job at portraying a younger version of Batman, which is probably my favorite incarnation of him. Overall, I can't see why this game hasn't gotten a remaster, and doesn't deserve to be forgotten in my eyes.

Sempre escutei que esse jogo era o mais fraco da fraquia, agora zerado, esse jogo não deve em nada aos outros
A Gameplay excelente como a dos outros, o mesmo mapa (talvez o ponto negativo), o clima e a narrativa do jogo segue a mesma essencia, ou seja seja, ele é tão bom quanto os outros
Um ponto que não sei dizer se é negativo ou não, mas é bem besta, é que em todo jogo da franquia Arkham, todos os vilões tem que aparecer, Vilão X é derrotado no jogo Y e tem todo um drama e a campanha do jogo envolta a esse vilão, ae no jogo seguinte tá lá ele de novo, e de novo e de novo, ae só fica besta demais

Arkham Origins — Arkham C, Arkham V

Mano, minhas expectativas pra esse jogo tavam bem baixas, e talvez por isso ele até tenha me surpreendido positivamente. Mas sendo sincero: Arkham Origins tá longe do nível dos outros jogos da franquia(ainda não joguei o Knight).
Dá pra ver que ele foi feito meio que às pressas, só pra preencher espaço até o próximo grande lançamento. É basicamente um Arkham City 1.5, com tudo meio reciclado. Gameplay, lutas contra chefes, sistema de combate… tudo parece uma versão mais capada do que já tinham feito antes.

Um Batman Putasso (o mano taca os vilões no chão no maior fdskkkkkkkk)
Apesar dos pesares, uma coisa eu curti bastante: o Batman mais novo, mais impulsivo, mais raivoso. Ele ainda não tem aquele autocontrole clássico, e isso rende umas cenas bem boas.
Dá pra sentir o peso da frustração dele, principalmente nos diálogos com o Alfred e na forma como ele trata os bandidos. Essa vibe “sou um jovenzinho transtornado e tô puto” funciona legal e traz uma visão diferente do personagem

Vilões e História — Começa Bem… Mas a reviravolta….
A história começa interessante, com a proposta do Máscara Negra contratando assassinos pra matar o Batman na véspera de Natal. Promissor, né? Mas aí, do nada, jogam o Coringa entrando no lugar do Máscara, completamente jogado
O Coringa rouba a cena completamente (como sempre), e o Máscara Negra vira uma missão secundária. Aquele que era pra ser o vilão principal vira literalmente uma missão secundária sem graça, com um final pífio, fiquei muito broxado.
O único vilão que realmente brilha é o Bane — versão inteligente, estratégica, ameaçadora. Muito acima das versões padrão que costumam mostrar dele. O resto… bem esquecível, shiva, e pistoleiro tadinho deleskkkkkkkkkkkk

Gotham Bonita, Mas Morta
A ambientação até tenta. Tem neve, clima natalino, luzes, prédios… mas falta alma. A desculpa do “toque de recolher” pra não ter ninguém nas ruas deixa tudo muito vazio. Gotham parece bonita, mas sem vida nenhuma. Isso pesa na imersão.
No Asylum você se sente preso e amedrontado. No City você se sente em meio ao caos doido. No Origins… você tem neve

Conclusão
No fim das contas, Arkham Origins não é tão ruim. Mas também não é tão bom. Ele tem seus momentos, principalmente com o Batman mais bruto e a versão foda do Bane. Mas o excesso de reciclagem e uma história que perde a força no meio do caminho tiram muito do brilho.
Foi legal jogar? Foi. Valeu a experiência. Mas comparado com Asylum e City, fica claro que ele é o primo mais apagado da família.
Agora é hora de fechar a saga com o Arkham Knight. A expectativa tá alta de novo — vamos ver no que dá.

I enjoyed the story and gameplay of this one a bit more than City, but the map (a reused City) wasn't super interesting. Especially because you couldn't go in most of the buildings, many of them you couldn't even get on top of, and there was just so much backtracking and back and forth.

The voice acting is top notch. I'm impressed by Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker playing Batman and the Joker respectively, Troy Baker did a good job at emulating Mark Hamill.

Overall I had a fine experience with this, but I'm not fond of the trope in games where you beat a boss, and they just repeatedly show up and "haha you didn't actually beat me!" Bane in this game was less scary, and more annoying. His second-to-last boss fight was obnoxious.

I still hold to the opinion that Arkham Asylum is far and away the best in this series, and it's not close. That said, this is still a good game and I don't regret my time with it.

Dude, I am so confused at this game not getting higher praise from critics, and it honestly makes me so sad.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Arkham Origins. Traveling through the world, completing side missions, beating up goons, and especially battling the fantastic bosses was a thrill. Granted, I in no doubt think this is because it's been about 2-3 years since I played Arkham City and even longer since I played Asylum, so the Batman Arkham formula is fresh on my mind. I know this prequel didn't add anything revolutionary to the franchise, but at the same time, I think it executed its story so well, and the gameplay is fun as always with some awesome additions like the shock gloves that I couldn't help but love it.

The whole second half after going back to the Batcave and finding Alfred will definitely be the biggest reason I remember this game fondly, that whole final fight was absolutely awesome, the sound track was great, the characters designs were cool... I just feel like there's so much to like about this game!

Then again, it didn't hook me until a couple of hours in, and the whole predator side of things... yeah, meh. Graphics also aren't anything to write home about, though I do like the style they gave to the character models in this entry.

My conclusion? Give Arkham Origins a try, even if you already did so, maybe it will be a better experience this time around.

Not sure why they switched Joker’s VA but Troy Baker wasn’t bad, it’s just Mark is too good. The game would be great if there was no Arkham City, the story isn’t as good but Boss Fights are way better. Reminds me of Miles Morales, cleaner version of it’s predecessor. But it’s not original and feels like DLC to City.

🦇❄️ Batman: Arkham Origins — O Prequel que Resiste ao Gelo

Arkham Origins é o patinho negro da série, mas não merece ser congelado no esquecimento. WB Montréal pegou a fórmula Rocksteady e adicionou neve natalina, um Batman mais cru e vilões que ainda não sabiam que odiavam o morcego. A história, focada em uma noite onde o Cavaleiro das Trevas é caçado por oito assassinos (e pela própria arrogância), é um conto de natal sombrio com coração de HQ clássica.

O combate mantém o freeflow icônico, mas com toques de brutalidade juvenil — afinal, este é um Batman que ainda erra e sangra. A relação com Alfred, mais protetor e cínico, e os embriões da ligação com Gordon dão camadas emocionais. Os chefes? Deathstroke brilha em um duelo que é aula de design, e o Bane aqui é mais estratégico que roteirizado. O mapa, uma Gotham pré-Arkham City, tem charme próprio, com neve suja e luzes de natal piscando em becos perigosos.

Mas o gelo racha: bugs persistentes (até hoje!), missões secundárias esquecíveis e um multiplayer tacky que deveria ter virado DLC. O Coringa, apesar da performance marcante, rouba espaço de vilões originais que mereciam holofote. Ainda assim, quando o jogo acerta — como na tensão da Torre do Relógio ou na trilha sonora que mistura villancicos com corais góticos —, prova que até um spin-off pode ter asas.

Nota: 🎄🦇 7/10 — "Origins não é o melhor da série, mas é o prequel que fãs do Batman precisavam... mesmo que não soubessem."

Batman: Летопись Аркхэма - это очередная супергеройская игра о противостоянии боевого мужика-мешка с ушками и криминальных элементов в масках/гриме/капюшонах, в этот показывающая более молодую версию подконтрольного героя.

Сюжетно это - не история создания Бэтмена или Джокера, а лишь их первая встреча холодной зимней ночью. Брюс тут "мышует" уже 2 года до открывающих событий и вообще не вспоминает о том, что заставило его вести двойную жизнь (хотя в DLC "Вступление" представлены испытания в Лиге теней).
Гораздо большего развития тут получают отношения с капитаном Гордоном, а также поясняется за отупление Бэйна. Все остальные комиксные злыдни "мимокрокодилят" уже проработанными!
С вышедшими ранее "поздними" проектами получаются несостыковки типа возрастного напяливания трусов поверх брюк, напрасной сдачи в утиль крутых устройств и сбора своего арсенала каждый раз по-новой, когда над Готэмом нависает очередная угроза.

Мир здесь в 2 раза больше Arkham City, но планировка его районов ощущается, как халтура.
Расхваленные битвы с боссами хороши лишь в половину того, как о них говорят.
Величайший в мире детектив дополнительно расследует сплошь убийства, число которых только растёт по окончании сюжета. Механика склеивания и перемотки частей AR-видео там кому-то показалось настолько прорывной, что из неё аж выросла целая игра - Tacoma!
Риддлер тут ещё совсем зелёный и запрятал всего-то 270 трофеев!
Испытания прокачки идут друг за другом, а не свободным списком, так что будете страдать, если возьмётесь за них только после зачистки всего.
Второго управляемого героя нет, так что вновь забавляемся двумя режимами новой игры и модификаторным завоеванием 288 медалей (ранее - 744) для 100%!

Привнесённые новшества:
- ускорение подтягивания доступно изначально;
- телепорты через Бэткрыло;
- только сюжет для успеха в NG+;
- наконец-то можно поиграть за Джокера на ПК.

Изюминка этой части - отдельный асимметричный мультиплеер с тремя сторонами.
К сожалению, там только 2 режима и 4 карты, 2 часа - и всё!
Кредиты и премиальные контейнеры, поднятие уровней и престиж, прокачивание и открытие устройств/способностей, получение обликов - наполнение стандартно!

Главным аниматором игры выступил товарищ Nasrallah - в данном конкретном случае фамилия очень говорящая!
Жалкий эффект скорости, который нельзя отключить, Бэтмен, который не может выйти из стойки после боя, застывание врагов, ошибки скелетной анимации падших злюк...
Прибавлю к этому:
- провал под карту;
- застревание камеры в недвижимой позиции;
- застывание NPC;
- неожиданное исчезновение звука;
- зависания с черным экраном;
- вылеты с ошибками / крахи на выходе.

От полного фиаско спасает лишь тоддское автосохранение после каждого важного действия.

Однако великолепная начинка от rocksteady по-прежнему тащит игру уже другой студии. Сетевая добавка общего впечатления тут не портила (пока работала).
Проект всё-таки порекомендую, несмотря на высокую повторяемость и низкую стабильность.

Cara, comprei esse jogo em 2022 e na época não me cativou.
PORÉM digo com certeza que o jogo envelheceu como vinho... Bom pra se apreciar! Sinto muito por quem desconsidera o "prequel" da saga Arkham.
O jogo tem lutas incríveis com chefes e que se você não se ligar, pode ter uma certa dificuldade pra passar. A história é muito boa, já que acompanhamos um Batman no início de carreira, sendo mais um justiceiro amedrontador, do que um herói.
Enfim, se você é fã do Batman, VOCÊ DEVE EXPERENCIAR ESSE GAME!!

I finally went back and played this again thinking all the negativity this game gets cant be earned. And most of it isn't imo.
But if i had watched all those trailers and been hyped after Arkham city like most back then i probably wouldn't have been happy either.
You dont fight the 8 big bads the joker hired only 3, batman is absolute ♥♥♥♥ to Alfred for no real reason. Or simply because Alfred tells him to come eat and rest and batman is like NO I MUST PROTECT THIS CITY and he only changes after Alfred almost dies.
Graphically the game still looks great. Hands down. Combat still feels good and you start off with most gadgets, so you never feel limited. the XP system is kinda meh, it forces you to do other side quests and what not which isn't bad but if you just want to play the story you may find yourself underpowered especially on the higher difficulties.
The boss fights are okay and the voice acting is solid. But that's also where my biggest problem lies.
Batman is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to everyone for no reason. IDK what version of him they were using cause its such a disconnect from the other two and i understand its an origins game but in what adaptation is batman such a massive ♥♥♥♥.
On the other side Joker is actually great tho i can be a little over done with how much of a mainiac he is, but its refreshing ina way.
The other characters are fine like Alfred and deadshot, I really enjoyed banes performance. Copper head was fine and so on. The Christmas theme was fun and overall i had fun even if it was a bit of a drag sometimes.
But the biggest thing that stood out to me is how much the style of these games have aged. I was playing this over the course of 4 months case of how much of a slog it was.
I wanted to replay all these games from origins since i never played Arkham knight and bruh idek if i want to now cause i know all the games are structured the same for the most part but having to do all this again is not my cup of tea right now.

Awesome boss fights with some of the most memorable in the series. Batman's suit looks amazing, easily the best base suit alongside Arkham Knight. Gameplay is really solid and all the villains were great in their roles, and it felt like a Long Halloween story. Whilst some of the combat can be sloppy and clunky, and the newer games really approved upon this, its still really fun and a worthwhile game, easily 2nd best in the franchise.

Awesome batman game. There were lots of memorable boss fights, and it was cool seeing the origins of some characters like Harley Quinn and some other lesser known villains. The combat is awesome as always and lots of cool gadgets to dig into. My only complaint is that the ending felt kind of rushed.

Um clássico do Batman. Não envelheceu tão mal mas algumas coisas incomodam como por exemplo o combate ser inferior até mesmo ao City que havia sido lançado antes do Origins. Não terminei as sides e nem recomendo que façam pois isso deixará o jogo maçante, são mais das mesmas, control C + control V de algumas sides do City e a maioria são iguais, ainda mais se estão procurando terminar os 4 jogos para completar a saga, fazer as sides só fará com que vocês tenham chance de dropar mais rapido a saga.

Nota final 9/10 apenas pelo simples motivo de que o foco do vilão que tinha grande potencial no jogo foi trocado pelo bom e velho Coringa, uma cartada clássica dos jogos do Batman mas que fez um jogo que tinha potencial de focar em outros vilões que também são muito bons, perder essa chance e ser mais uma história de Batman x Coringa. Mesmo assim, história perfeita e muito fiel a algumas HQs, 100% recomendado para todos os públicos de jogos.

Great Arkham game- not quite as good as Asylum or City, but right there with them. I haven't played Knight yet, so I can't compare the two. The story was as entertaining as a good Batman movie and the cutscenes were simply top-notch, especially considering that they still look amazing over a decade later. The collectibles were a little tedious (looking at you Anarchy tags), but since they're optional, I can't really complain. There were some definite clunky parts in combat and some of the guns enemies have seem overpowered and annoying. Overall, it's a fun Batman game with a cool vibe/setting, given it occurs on a snowy Christmas Eve. The Cold, Cold Heart DLC was worth playing- short and sweet.

Still an excellent game that keeps improving on what previous games did best. Plus finally some fun boss fights.
