Revenge of the Savage Planet is very interesting game where you play as one of the explorer for Alta company and you are stranded on an alien unknown planet, not sure what you should do without anything at all. Throughout the exploring the planet you are finding out that your own company ditched you and you are effectively unemployed.

This game is very satirical action adventure, you're exploring multiple planets trying to research all fauna and flora, find all tools that could help you getting back to Earth. It is fun playing it with friend, exploring all planets and just having fun.

I must admit, though, that the end of the game turns into resource grind just to craft items that could help you go back home. It's not fun at all. I guess we would have not encounter this issue, if we completed all optional objectives but the game was kind of confusing that I didn't know what is optional and what is not in the journal.

Overall this game is fun playing in coop, I can't imagine playing it solo though.

It's in Gamepass (as of 22/07/25), so you can try it without buying it first which is always nice.

Jeg var vild med 1'eren, men 2'eren her kom vi ikke igennem uden problemer. Allerførste skuffelse kom i starten af spillet da det viste sig at man ikke kan spille det i first person, ligesom man ellers gjorde i 1'eren. Dette var en downer og fortsatte med at være det hele spillet igennem. Jeg ville have foretrukket first person. Derudover blev spillet ret buggy hen imod slutningen. Især 2 bugs blev gamebreaking til sidst. Flemming havde ofte ikke noget gamelyd når han kom ind på banen og løsningen var at lukke spillet og starte det igen - men hver gang han quittede vores game så røg jeg også af. Næste bug var at selvom jeg startede et eksisterende game, så oprettede den et nyt game og startede derfor også intro cutscene som varer 5 minutter og er unskippable. Løsning var ALT+F4 og genstarte spillet. Virkelig irriterende kombination af bugs, når hans gamelyd-bug med restart kunne forårsage min start-new-game bug. Så til sidst orkede vi ikke mere og gik bare målrettet efter at se end-credits og komme ud af spillet. Ærgerligt, for spillet er ellers virkelig godt og flot lavet, det er tydeligt at game designerne virkelig har styr på hvad de laver - lige med undtagelse af de få bugs hen imod slutningen, som endte med at farve vores oplevelse en del.
