Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Final Fantasy Explorers and Star Ocean The Last Hope

I'm playing a pacifist run on Undertale right now.

It's complicated for me and beating games, and that's mostly because I review games. It's sort of looked down upon if a reviewer doesn't actually finish a game before reviewing it (even though I typically draft said review after 5-10 hours of gameplay and have only had to majorly edit one review... ever), so I do usually try to suffer through even the worst games to completion. But, at the same time, forcing oneself through a game does tend to make someone more negative on said game than they should be, so it's a slippery slope that one really needs to be careful not to inject their own personal frustration into something that is not really the game's fault, but is more at fault with your personal skill level or the approaching deadlines.

So that said, if I feel needlessly frustrated with any game, I'll stop playing it, at least for a period of time. Eventually I'll probably go back to it, unless I really disliked it, then I'll sell the game or delete it from my hard drive and strike it from the backlog forever. I have enough other games to play, might as well not waste my time on something I don't enjoy playing, if I don't have to.

Oh, and if I get stuck, if there's a guide available, I'll use it to get past any sticking points. And if not, I'll make a quick GameFAQs Answers/Forum check--usually I'm not the only one that gets stuck in seemingly random places.

Gaiages that's one of my pet peeves when I read reviews. I generally don't but occasionally I'll check and see what someone thinks about a series I like. I'm a HUGE fan of the Disgaea series and it's horrible reading reviews from people I know only played a few hours before writing the review. Disgaea is about the end game and going crazyon leveling, and camoes, you don't experience any of what the draw is if you only play a couple chapters of the game.

My main genre is JRPGs but playing one right after the other can be kind of draining after a while. I have a lot les time than when I was younger to play too. What I usually do is have one JRPG I'm playing and a couple smaller games to play when I need a break. But I like to just have one main game that I'm trying to beat at a time. For me personally I find it hard to finish games when I'm jumping between a lot of different story based games at one time.

I joined here a few years ago after seeing a post on reddit, I've always really enjoyed tracking my game times so this site instantly appealed to me.

I mainly play JRPGs and so this site really helps me kind of plan out my games. I'm kind of slow so I usually ad a few hours to the average time, but it's always been really close to my finish time.

I love this game!

I would never have labelled it as a SJRPG though.

On Friday I was able to pick up Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete. Super happy at this find!

Nothing yet! Tomorrow when I get paid I want the Phantasy Star games! All three are on sale :D

Last Remnant

I haven't gone through all the posts so I don't know if this has been suggested before. But I wish we could search by genre. Like I really enjoy JRPGs but sometimes I don't feel like sitting down and starting a 60+ hour game. I'd like to be able to just search JPRGs and then break down the time to beat to find a specific length game.

Sometimes I just want a shorter game to tide me over until a new one I plan to buy first day comes out and I think this would be easier than looking through every game I have and would open the door to discovering new games.

I use to be a lot more active than I have been lately. I read the forums a lot but didn't talk too often. I'm usually a lurker. But I've been on a little over two years :)

I'm not a trophy/achievement hunter but I really do like tracking my games and the time I spend on them so I always come back. You probably don't recognize my name on here but I remember people you mentioned :)

I'm really excited for it. I enjoyed the first one a lot.

Just finished Stick of Truth and getting ready to start Tales of Symphonia Chronicles

Got my federal tax return and picked up a PS4 and ACIV.

I'm a bit late to this but I'd like to beat 10 games this year. Pretty much all of them are longer JRPGs but I think it's one that if I don't let myself get sidetracked on I should be able to achieve.

I really want to pick up that Banner Saga game. Also been watching a friend play through Valkyria Chronicles makes me want to get that game again and actually finish it.

Still playing Guided Fate Paradox. IMO way harder than ZHP and not as funny. Still an enjoyable enough little game though.

Earlier this week I finished The Ezekiel Project and Long Journey Home. I'm about to start The Flue by Jacqueline Druga.
