Where to begin. Very underbaked for a Civ game. The mix and match leader and civ combos prevented good role playing, as did the age transitions. The goals in the ages got old quick and prevent you from playing the way you want to play. Lots of quality of life improvements from Civ VI.

I second many of the criticisms others have about the game and add, it's just not that fun. In the process of trying to innovate, did the team forget that games are meant to be fun?
