Does L.A. Noire Have a Real Ending?

I am in the middle of L.A. Noire and I enjoy it, but I am not sure if there is a real ending. I would like to know if there is one so I just don't play mission after mission and find out there isn't one.

Yes. It has like 21 different cases over I think 5 desks. It has a pretty cool overall story that connects to itself, so I think it would be a good idea to continue.
