DiRT Rally 2.0 improves everything from its predecessor (expext from the texture quality which some how worse). Despite that MyTeam mode(career) is still not interesting to play and if that's not enough its also an always online mode. The game has a lot of cars and tracks but half of them are locked behind DLCs so you have to buy GOTY version or spend a lot to get the DLCs. The physics are decent as long as you dont drive in asphalt. Since this is a simulator you will have to spend a lot of time to get good. Even after 20 hours of playtime it was still not good enough to even do a decent time with the slowest car and I dont have the will to improve when the only interesting gamemode is Time Trial.Updated 2 Days Ago

Not as hardcore as 1.0. Difficulty was definitely toned down. Rally stages are new, they're easier, and there is no Sweden. Also, unfortunately, hillclimb disappeared, while the boring ass rallycross stayed. Overall it's the same kind of good, but sterile and not very entertaining.Updated 2 Months Ago

The controller experience feels very floaty. This was marketed as a "sim" and as such has very minimal SP content. Otherwise on a wheel this feels incredible, not much that keeps me coming back however.Updated 1.5 Years Ago

Not fully completed the game. but the game is a nice graphical update to the prequel. And the career went from arcade-y difficulty settings to a more modern codemasters way of doing things(ai-slider and such thing if i remember it right). Waiting for the WRC licensed game for the dirt rally 2.1Updated 1.5 Years Ago

The most demanding and immersive racing game I've ever played, but too much content is left out of the base game.+ Amazing driving physics and realism that differs greatly across classes
+ Immersive HUD-less design
+ Co-driver calls sell it really well
- Pretty impossible with a controller at highest difficulties
- Rallycross is deadly boring
- Not enough courses in base game

Plus za język pl. Technicznie ponownie bez zarzutu. Więcej opcji rozgrywki niż w 1, ale... wyższe poziomy trudności do ogarnięcia już tylko przez maniaków.Updated 2.5 Years Ago

Amazing visuals, incredible sound and a decent stage and vehicle collection. The racing itself is just slightly let down by floaty vehicle physics which doesn’t work well on asphalt. It is tough to recommend for everyone. High difficulty and needs a decent wheel setup and in game vehicle tuning to make it enjoyable.
Rally requires over exaggerated inputs and aggressive weight transfer, thinking 2 or 3 corners ahead. It’s like trying to take control of a dropped hosepipe. The car is rarely in a straight line, you're in a permanent semi-controlled slide. It took a while but was immensely enjoyable once it clicked.
The combination of high difficulty, opponents being far too fast and costly repairs sapped the fun out of career mode for me. I much preferred playing time trials.
I clocked an enjoyable 20hrs but the intensity made it feel like a workout every time I played so the long term appeal faded.

One of the best Rally simulators currently. Taking 10% off because cars still feel way to light and floaty, especially on asphalt.Updated 3 Years Ago

not a clear "ending" for game but once I earned 1,000,000 credits achievement only 3% unlock i figured it could be considered completed. don't actually like this one as much as regular Dirt because it doesn't have trophy truck and have no idea how the other cars were so much faster on some of the courses - like waaaayyy faster but other times I was able to win? and the upgrading your team wasn't very clear / helpful and buying cars was hard because they're expensive and don't get much money if you lose.Updated 5.5 Years Ago

Not bad, but too few environments and the career structure is not very entertaining. Driving model and cars are nice, but it gets quite repetitive after a while.Updated 5.5 Years Ago
